Hero Sells 11 Lakh Vehicles in 2 Months

Global two-wheeler giant & market leader Hero MotoCorp achieved sales of 11 lakh, motorcycles and scooters during the festive period this year through, October & November 2012. This marks a 7 percent sales hike for Hero compared to last year’s festive months sales. Hero’s Splendor, Passion, Ignitor and the Maestro bikes have been the biggest contributors to these enormous sales numbers.

The record sales come at a good time for Hero MotoCorp, only a few months after they completed shifting over from their previous joint brand, Hero Honda. It could also an indication that the effects of the recession are wearing off on the Indian two-wheeler market.
