Hero Motocorp is Sponsor of Hockey Indian League

As we all know that Hockey holds a special place in our hearts. Hero MotoCorp has always been instrumental in promoting hockey in India through the sponsorship of various tournaments that are related to this game. Hockey India League has recently signed a multi-year title sponsorship deal with the motorcycle marque. The tournament which is some-what based on the IPL is scheduled to take place from 14 January to 10 February 2013 involving the 120 world-class players and also the five teams such as Delhi Wave riders, Jaypee Punjab Warriors, Uttar Pradesh Wizards, Mumbai Magicians and Ranchi Rhinos who will compete in the inaugural HIL season.

With the sponsorship, the tournament will now be called as the Hero Hockey India League. The association of the Hero MotoCorp with the game dates back to the Olympics, where Hero was the Title Sponsor of the 2012 Olympics Qualifier Tournament such as Hero FIH Road to London 2012 and also in New Delhi in year 2010.
