Royal Enfield Hunter 450: Clear Spy Images Revealed

The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is set to become the manufacturer's second motorcycle built on its new 450cc platform, and it has been spotted on the road once again.

Styling

From the spy shots, it's evident that the styling of the upcoming Hunter 450 bears a resemblance to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, featuring a round headlight, a round tank design, and a contoured single-piece seat. However, the sleek side panel and tail section appear similar to those of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, including the integration of the tail light into the LED turn indicators. The bike also shares the same exhaust design. These details were previously observed when the bike was spotted a couple of months ago.

Features

Moving to the front, it's anticipated that the headlight will be an LED unit, and the round TFT instrument console will likely mirror the one found in the Himalayan 450. The Hunter 450 is expected to feature a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and a monoshock. Based on the spy shots, it seems that the bike will be equipped with 17-inch wheels at both ends, sporting the same alloy wheel design as the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.

Powertrain

Powering the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 will be the all-new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, Sherpa engine from the Himalayan 450, producing 40.02PS and 40Nm of torque.

Expected Launch and Competition

It is anticipated to hit the market with an approximate price tag of Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and is likely to be launched by the end of 2024. Once launched, the roadster will compete with models like the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, and the QJ Motor SRC 500.
