New Car Launches in February 2024: Tata, Mahindra, Skoda, and More

In February 2024, the automotive industry observed a rush of new launches and unveils, both in India and globally. From innovative CNG-automatic cars by Tata Motors to special edition models from Mahindra and Skoda, the month was filled with exciting developments for car enthusiasts. Additionally, Renault and Skoda unveiled new global products that are expected to make their way to the Indian market, while the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 showcased several new debuts.

Tata Tiago / Tiago NRG / Tigor CNG AMT

Tata Motors introduced the first CNG-automatic cars in India with the launch of the Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor CNG AMT variants. Priced between Rs 7.90 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh, these models offer a blend of convenience and fuel efficiency. The vehicles feature a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 86 PS and 113 Nm, with the CNG mode slightly reducing the engine output to 73.5 PS and 95 Nm.

Mahindra Thar Earth Edition

Mahindra introduced a special edition of its popular off-road SUV, the Thar, called the Earth Edition. Priced between Rs 15.40 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh, this edition boasts a unique Desert Fury exterior shade and beige leatherette seat upholstery with a Dune design pattern on the headrests. The Thar Earth Edition is available with 4WD variants of both petrol and diesel engines offering customers a rugged and stylish off-road experience.

Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select Variant

Mahindra expanded its Scorpio N lineup with the introduction of the Z8 Select variant, priced between Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh. Positioned between the Z6 and Z8 variants the Z8 Select offers a range of premium features, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, and a sunroof. It is available with both 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options along with a choice of manual or automatic transmission.

Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select 

Skoda Slavia Style Edition

Skoda launched the limited-edition Style variant of the Slavia sedan, priced at Rs 19.13 lakh. Limited to just 500 units, the Style Edition features exclusive 'Edition' badging, blacked-out ORVMs, and a black roof for a sporty look. It has puddle lights and a dual-camera dashcam which improve both its looks and usefulness overall.

BMW 7 Series 

BMW introduced the 760i Protection xDrive VR9, a security version of the 7 Series sedan designed to withstand bullets and explosives. Priced for high-risk individuals, this sedan is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine, delivering 530 PS and 750 Nm of torque. Hyundai Creta N Line

Hyundai unveiled the sportier version of its compact SUV, the Creta N Line, featuring a refreshed grille, updated bumpers, and red accents throughout.
