KTM RC Cup is a motorsport event held in collaboration with MotoAmerica Racing series in the United States of America. The event is purely dedicated for the promotion of young talent and KTM recently revealed their 2017 Edition race bike for this specific event. What seems to be a modified RC 390 is actually carrying 40 powerparts and comes directly from the race division of Austrian sport bike maker.
The front uses fully adjustable racing forks from WP while the rear uses a race spec mono-shock with adjustable compression and rebound damping. Other parts include race spec seat, CNC machined fold-able levers, track friendly bony panels and Akrapovic exhaust system. All these makes this bike track specific and illegal for road use. Rules of the event do not allow engine modification and hence, it stays the same.
