Norton 450 Urban revealed with 454cc engine and 47 PS
The Norton 450 Urban debuts with a 454cc single, 47 PS and cornering ABS. India is on the rollout list, with price and timing still open.
Norton unveiled the 450 Urban at EICMA 2026 with a 454cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, an aluminium frame and two versions. The engine makes 47 PS and 45 Nm. Norton has named India in its international rollout, with local pricing, a launch date and the final India equipment list still to come.
Norton 450 Urban engine, chassis and equipment
Both versions use a liquid-cooled 454cc single with a six-speed gearbox. Norton quotes 47 PS at 8,000 rpm and 45 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power unit matters when comparing spec sheets. 47 metric horsepower is about 46.4 mechanical horsepower.

| Gearbox | Six-speed |
| Frame | Aluminium |
| Rider aids shown | Cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control and three ride modes |
The 450 Urban brings those electronics to Norton’s smaller-capacity range. Norton also lists a quickshifter among the available technologies. Buyers should check the India equipment list before assuming which version includes it.

What the reveal means for India
Norton has named India among the markets in its rollout. It has yet to announce an India launch date, price or local equipment list. Prospective buyers weighing a premium middleweight should look for dealer and service coverage as well as the eventual on-road price. Those details affect ownership in ways the engine and chassis figures alone cannot establish.
The 450 Urban gives riders a view of Norton’s smaller roadster before local ordering opens. A test ride can answer the most important everyday questions, including how the single behaves in slow traffic, how easily the bike turns at low speed and whether the seat and controls suit the rider.
