Braking Efficiency

Equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, the Clavis SUV emphasizes Kia's commitment to optimal performance providing drivers with a sense of control and confidence on the road.

Engine Options – EV and ICE

The Clavis SUV will offer both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric powertrains. While details about the electric variants are undisclosed, expectations align with a range between 350 km to 400 km. For ICE models, a powerful 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine is anticipated, delivering 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, with transmission options including a 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) and a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) and the front-wheel-drive configuration enhances agility.

In just four years, Kia has become India’s 5th largest carmaker, driven by the success of models like the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens. With the launch of the Clavis SUV Kia hopes to increase its market share in the growing SUV sector and draw in a new customer base that is looking for a challenging and exciting driving environment.
