The Kia Carens has become very popular in the Indian automobile segment since its introduction in February 2022. In terms of my opinion about Carens, it is a balanced Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) which technically fits the modern Indian families. No sooner had the Carens been launched with its large cabin, different seating configurations and numerous features than it became a bestseller with more than 150,000 units sold within 27 months. It is comfortable to drive, practical and styling - all at once joys and frustrations of any MPV buyer who keeps hunting for new captured market innovation.

Design and Aesthetics

The exterior styling of the Kia Carens is in accordance with the image of the brand, which embodies the concept ‘Opposites United’ by KIA. It consistent with this pricing strategyCarens can be inched neck to neck with other most in demand MPVs Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Alcazar. Nonetheless, despite the stiff competition, Carens delivers thanks to its long list of features, modern exterior and broader engine offering.

If the Innova Crysta comes for reliable performance with lots of cabin space, the Carens offers superb comfort and a good number of seats more cheaply.

Another tough competitor is the Hyundai Alcazar which shares the same platform as the Carens but raises the game by being priced and equipped better. Still, the Carens fights back even though it is up against stiff competition by providing a wide variety of variants and a well-equipped cabin making it ideal for price conscious buyers who want versatility.
