Kia is currently conducting tests on its upcoming Clavis B-SUV ahead of its highly anticipated debut which is expected to take place later this year. A partially camouflaged test mule may be seen in recent spy photos that have been posted online, giving a view of both its appearance and inside.

From the images, it's evident that the new Clavis will sport a boxy silhouette, complemented by vertically stacked projector headlamps featuring integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Additionally, the car will have stylish 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, and front and rear parking sensors. At the rear, vertically stacked split LED taillights and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess enhance the Clavis's visual appeal. To increase the utility and adaptability of the car, roof rails will also be installed.

Moving inside the cabin, the 2024 Clavis is expected to offer a host of premium features to enhance comfort and convenience. These may include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and dual-tone upholstery. Other notable inclusions are likely to be a 360-degree camera system for added safety and convenience, 10.25-inch screens for enhanced connectivity and entertainment, and wireless phone connectivity. To further ensure the safety of its occupants, the Clavis is anticipated to be fitted with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite in addition to six airbags.

Under the hood, the India-spec Kia Clavis is anticipated to be powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is expected to be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission (AMT) providing drivers with smooth and efficient performance on the road.
