After inaugurating 2 dealerships in Pune last week, Jawa today inaugurated 3 showrooms in Bengaluru. The brand will open a total of 100 dealerships in the 1st phase and Bengaluru is the 2nd city in India to get the dealerships. Jawa recently also started accepting dealer-level offline bookings with a fully refundable token amount of INR 5000.
The brand is at present selling 2 motorcycles in India: Classic 300 and the Jawa 42, priced at INR 1.64 lakh and INR 1.55 lakh respectively. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom. The motorcycles are powered by a single cylinder 293cc engine, which generates maximum power of 27 bhp and maximum torque of 28 Nm. The engine is liquid-cooled, BS6, fuel-injected, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Jawa Perak bobber will go on sale in India in the 2nd half of 2019.
