Kia India recently unveiled the 2024 Seltos SUV facelift, a mid-cycle refresh of the popular SUV that was first launched in the country in 2019. The facelifted Seltos features a revised exterior design, a new interior, and many updated features.
The exterior of the facelifted Seltos gets a new front grille, a revised bumper, and new LED headlights and taillights. The 2024 Seltos gets a new digital instrument cluster on the inside. The lower and mid variants share the same instrument cluster as the Carens and Venue, while the higher variants get a better display. The vehicle also gets 17 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.
The centre console has been redesigned with a new AC control panel. The Seltos now gets dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. It also has keyless go, auto-headlamps, an air purifier, and a Bose audio system with 8 speakers.
The 2024 Kia Seltos facelift will be available with three engine options. A 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The NA petrol engine produces 115 PS of power and is available with either a manual transmission (MT) or an IVT. The turbocharged petrol engine produces 160 PS of power and is available with either an IMT or (DCT). The diesel engine produces 115 PS of power and is available with either an IMT or a torque converter (TC).
The Seltos received a 3-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests in its pre-facelift avatar. But it does come standard with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, HSA, and ISOFIX. These safety features are available on all variants of the Seltos. The 2024 Kia Seltos will be available in three trim lines: X-Line, GT Line, and Tech Line. It will be offered in 8 colours, including 1 matte and 2 dual-tone shades. Bookings for the Seltos will start on July 14, 2023, and prices will be announced at that time.
