Hyundai Creta Facelift First Price Hike Announced

Hyundai India has announced a price increase for its highly popular SUV, the Hyundai Creta. This marks the first price hike for the facelifted version of the vehicle. This move by Hyundai aligns with the trend observed among various car manufacturers in India, including Kia, Toyota, and Honda, who have also raised their vehicle prices this month.

Petrol and Diesel Variants Price Adjustment

For the petrol lineup of the Hyundai Creta, the price adjustment does not affect the E 1.5 petrol MT, SX(O) 1.5 Turbo DCT, and SX(O) 1.5 Turbo DCT variants, which remain priced as before. However, a uniform price hike of Rs. 3,500 has been applied to all other petrol variants of the Creta.

On the diesel front, Hyundai has opted to keep the prices of the SX(O) 1.5 AT and SX(O) 1.5 AT dual-tone variants unchanged. Conversely, the rest of the diesel variants have experienced a price increase, going up by as much as Rs. 10,800.

Engine, Transmission, and Variant Options

The Hyundai Creta continues to be offered with a choice of three engines and five transmission options. Customers have the option to select from seven different variants, which are available in seven distinct paint colors. This wide array of options ensures that there is a Creta variant to suit the preferences and needs of a broad spectrum of buyers.

Competition and Market Position

The Hyundai Creta faces stiff competition in the Indian SUV market. Its rivals include the Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and the Volkswagen Taigun. Despite the competitive landscape, the Creta has managed to maintain its popularity and appeal among Indian consumers, thanks in part to its comprehensive feature list, stylish design, and versatile engine and transmission options.

With this price revision, Hyundai aims to adjust to the changing market dynamics and costs associated with vehicle production and supply. Customers interested in purchasing the Creta may want to visit their nearest Hyundai dealership to explore the updated pricing and make an informed buying decision.
