Jawa has unveiled its 2024 bobber lineup, featuring updates and new variants. The Jawa Perak now offers a dual-tone variant priced at Rs 2,13,187, while the existing Moonstone White variant of the Jawa 42 Bobber is now priced at Rs 2,09,500. The 42 Bobber also debuts two new colorways, Mystic Copper and Jasper Red Dual Tone, all of which come with factory-installed alloy wheels with diamond cuts.
Jawa Perak: Heritage Line Updates
The new matte Black/matte Grey dual-tone variant of the Jawa Perak, part of the manufacturer's Heritage line, features brass tank badging and a quilted tan seat for a classic look. Other updates include repositioned footpegs, set forward by 155mm, a re-tuned 7-step preload adjustable mono-shock for improved damping, and a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29.9PS at 7500rpm and 30Nm at 5500rpm, slightly less power and torque than the previous model.
Jawa 42 Bobber: Price Adjustments and New Variants
The 42 Bobber's pricing has been revised, with some variants becoming more affordable. The complete price list is as follows:
- Jawa 42 Bobber – Moonstone White: Rs 2,09,500 (Rs 4,000 less)
- Jawa 42 Bobber – Mystic Copper Spoke Wheel: Rs 2,12,500 (No change)
- Jawa 42 Bobber – Mystic Copper Alloy Wheel: Rs 2,18,900 (New variant)

Additional Updates
While the ergonomics and suspension updates are appreciated, improvements such as repositioning the instrument cluster for better readability and adding a more informative digital inset would have been welcomed. The new alloy-wheel variants of the 42 Bobber add to the lineup's appeal, with the Mystic Copper Alloy Wheel variant priced Rs 6,500 higher than its spoked wheel counterpart. Existing customers can upgrade to alloy wheels for Rs 14,000.
Competition and Alternatives
The Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber are unique in their segment with no direct rivals. However, alternatives include the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda CB350, Yezdi Roadster, and Keeway V302C.
