I think people overthink this. It is a car, to be driven. Maintenance is expensive, but if you can afford a DB9, you can afford to daily it. There’s no reason to keep it in a garage, life’s too short.

Driving a DB9 daily is like dating a supermodel. When it's good, it's amazing, but the maintenance and attention are exhausting. I kept it as a weekend car for a year and went back to keeping it.

Ultimately, it all boils down to how much you can tolerate with problems. I daily mine and love it, but I also have a good relationship with my mechanic and am fine with the occasional quirk. It's not for everyone.

I would not daily drive it, I’m a former DB9 owner. I mean, it can handle it, it's just that you'll rack up a ton of miles and hurt the value. Now these cars are appreciating, so it is better to use it sparingly.

The sound insulation is incredible. The engine noise is what everyone talks about, but the fact that it is so quiet at cruising speeds is really impressive. It’s like being in a bubble when you drive.

I'd say the trunk space. It's surprisingly roomy for a car of this type. Weekend trips for two have been no problem. Not an SUV, but more practical than you might think.

Unsung heroes are the seats. While they look great, they are really comfortable on long drives. On end of a 6 hour trip, I felt fresh.

Speed bumps and driveways are no problem thanks to the ability to raise the suspension slightly. It is not advertised much, but it is a lifesaver in the daily use.

The analog clock in the center console. A small touch, but it brings such class to the interior. The digital display gets less of my attention than it.

It is phenomenal at high speed stability. The acceleration is what everyone talks about, but the fact that it stays planted at 150+ mph is impressive. Of course, I haven't done that on public roads...

Why not? If you have the cash, go ahead and get it. There is no point in leaving amazing cars in a garage as you don't have enough time in life.

In fact, the hybrid system may make the vehicle more daily drivable than you might think. But if you could probably cruise around town on electric power alone.

No way. It would be a terrible visibility, it would be hard as hell to find a place to park it, and you’d never stop worrying about scratching it. It was just a track toy.

It would be a neat daily in Monaco or Dubai, a place where supercars are common. It would be too much hassle anywhere else.
