I have Maruti Esteem VXi 2008 model. I want to know that is Maruti Esteem equipped with ABS or not?

Maruti Esteem VXi did not have an option of ABS and installing it is practically not possible as it is planned in the early stage of production and later on connecting it to the brakes would not be possible. You can just get new and better brake pads from a reputed brand and even change your tyres and switch to those which offer the best road grip but installing ABS would not be possible for the car. The ABS can be found as early as in the Swift VDi and that too comes factory fitted, making its cost low and working effective. From 2017, the bike and car makers would have to install ABS as it would be mandatory in India.
