When is Maruti Suzuki going to launch the S-Cross? What are the variant-wise expected prices?

The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is expected to launch on 5th August 2015. The car comes in crossover styling and brings new titles to the Maruti Suzuki naming strategies. The LDi, VDi and ZDi have been replaced with Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The new car would be exclusively sold in Nexa showrooms and the car comes with 2 engine options. The Sigma gets 1.3 L diesel, with a Sigma(O) variant also. Other variants have one each of the 1.3 L and 1.6 L diesel engines. Smartly, Maruti has used no petrol engine for the S-Cross and the range is expected to start from INR 8.25 lakh and INR 9.5 lakh for the base variants of 1.3 L and 1.6 L respectively. The car is expected with a top trim reaching nearly INR 11 lakh.
