What is the launch date & expected price of Maruti Suzuki WagonR diesel?

Maruti Suzuki has not revealed any date for the launch of other diesel vehicles in the entry level range, which includes the famous Alto and WagonR. The cars would most probably use the same engine being used in Celerio diesel. The engine is a 800 cc, twin-cylinder diesel motor producing 47 BHP and 125 NM of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and returns a mileage of 27.62 kmpl on the Celerio diesel. WagonR may get a lower mileage figure due to its heavy weight and lesser aerodynamic design. The car may get revealed very soon and requires a short testing phase only. It can be expected in the same trims as the petrol cars are offered and would most probably get INR 50,000 above each trim.
