Is the Marazzo's 4 star Global NCAP rating a game changer for safety in the MPV segment?
27 December 2024 09:39
That, for a parent, definitely makes the Marazzo a high point on my list. It's worth a lot to have peace of mind when you're hauling the whole family around.
Is the Marazzo's 4 star Global NCAP rating a game changer for safety in the MPV segment?

But that's a step in the right direction and I'm worried it will be used to justify cutting corners elsewhere. "It's safe, so we don't need to make it comfortable or efficient."
Is the Marazzo's 4 star Global NCAP rating a game changer for safety in the MPV segment?

The rating is great but I'm more intrigued by real world performance. How does it deal with common Indian accident scenarios? That's what really matters.
Is Marazzo's diesel-only engine lineup a smart move, or a limitation in today's market?
27 December 2024 09:39
Diesel still works for an MPV. With better torque for hauling people and luggage, and better fuel efficiency, it’s a big plus for budget conscious families. Mahindra knows their market.
Is Marazzo's diesel-only engine lineup a smart move, or a limitation in today's market?
27 December 2024 09:39
It's short-sighted. In cities, diesel's days are numbered. At the least, future proofing the model should at least offer a petrol option. When diesel is banned or heavily taxed what happens?
Is Marazzo's diesel-only engine lineup a smart move, or a limitation in today's market?
27 December 2024 09:39
I like it. High mileage is better for diesel engines, because they last longer. It is perfect for long term MPV owners who tend to make long trips.
Is Marazzo's diesel-only engine lineup a smart move, or a limitation in today's market?
27 December 2024 09:39
They're limiting their market. Other people quite simply prefer petrol engines or are worried about the cost of diesel maintenance. Why couldn’t we just give people both and let them decide what they wanted?
Is Marazzo's diesel-only engine lineup a smart move, or a limitation in today's market?

It's a gamble. But if diesel stays viable in India for another decade, they’ll look smart. If they don't, they'll have to go back and update the entire platform. A risky way that may end up paying off.
Is the Marazzo's shark inspired design actually cool? Or just a gimmick?
27 December 2024 09:39
The shark design I think actually works pretty well. In a segment full of boring boxes on wheels, it gives the Marazzo some character. Of course, it’s still really obviously an MPV, but at least Mahindra tried to make it look interesting.
Is the Marazzo's shark inspired design actually cool? Or just a gimmick?
27 December 2024 09:39
Nah, it's totally a gimmick. If you have angles, you can slap 'shark inspired' on anything. In the end it’s just a big van for hauling the family around. It doesn't drive any better, or fit more people.
Is the Marazzo's shark inspired design actually cool? Or just a gimmick?

I'm on the fence. I think some angles look pretty sleek, but from other angles it’s just awkward. The rear still screams "mom van" to me but the front end pulls it off okay. Points for effort though.
Is the Marazzo's shark inspired design actually cool? Or just a gimmick?
27 December 2024 09:39
It's growing on me. Initially I felt it was trying too hard, but compared to other MPVs it does have a more premium, almost crossover like vibe. Not a full shark, but certainly less boring than the competition.

The shark thing is a stretch, but at least they tried to style it. Most companies just phone in MPVs. It's refreshing to try to make it look somewhat sporty, even if it's not perfect.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto Plus truly redefine the business of small businesses?
27 December 2024 09:34
I’ve been using the Jeeto Plus for about 6 months now and as a small business owner, I’d have to say it’s been a solid investment. It's no joke about the fuel efficiency, I'm saving a good chunk of money on fuel compared to my old truck. This is also a big plus for my budget, as the low maintenance. It's not perfect, but for the price it's doing the job well.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto Plus truly redefine the business of small businesses?
27 December 2024 09:34
My Jeeto Plus has given me nothing but trouble. It's sure cheap to run but build quality is questionable. Within the first year I’ve had to deal with rattling noises, electrical issues, and even a breakdown. So, for new business owners, I would suggest to look at used Tata Ace models. They may be expensive up front, but they're meant to last.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto Plus truly redefine the business of small businesses?
27 December 2024 09:34
The Jeeto Plus is a mixed bag, as you can see. For the size of it, the payload capacity is decent, and it's great for narrow city streets. However, it’s not going to revolutionize your business overnight. It's budget, it does the job, but nothing more, nothing less. You might be disappointed if you expect a miracle worker.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto Plus truly redefine the business of small businesses?

I think the Jeeto Plus gets too harsh of a rap. It gives a lot for the price point. There are some quality issues, but show me a vehicle in this segment that doesn't have any. The right key, however, is maintenance. It’ll serve you well if you take care of it. This has been a game changer for my small delivery business.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto Plus truly redefine the business of small businesses?
27 December 2024 09:34
For someone who has driven the Jeeto Plus and also driven competitor Tata Ace, I will say that the Jeeto Plus has its place. It’s not the best in every category but it’s a pretty good all rounder. One of the biggest selling points is the fuel efficiency with rising fuel prices. It’s hard to beat for urban deliveries and small loads. Don't expect it to perform like a larger, more expensive truck, though.
How do the Indian roads work for the Jeeto Plus?
27 December 2024 09:34
I have driven my Jeeto Plus on all types of roads and I can tell you, it handles much better than you’d think. That’s a blessing in city traffic, as you can squeeze through gaps that bigger trucks can’t. If you're not overloading it, it's stable enough on highways. You feel those potholes more than in a bigger vehicle, but yeah.
How do the Indian roads work for the Jeeto Plus?
27 December 2024 09:34
The Jeeto Plus is fine for city roads, but rural roads are a different story. The suspension bottoms out on really bad patches and I've had issues with it. If you plan to use it mostly on well kept roads, then you will be fine. However, if you’re looking for something to get you through serious off road or damaged roads to the point where they’re heavily damaged, then you might want something with more ground clearance.
