What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?
31 January 2025 11:09
The exhaust note must be nailed. The original Pulsar's sound was part of its appeal. An emotional connect can be built with such an exhaust note, but they will have to create a distinctive, throaty exhaust note that can be heard — that can be felt in the stomach — for the RS250.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?

It's all about the X-factor. It had original Pulsar wolf eye headlamps and that muscular tank. That RS250 needs something unique about the design that people will notice, and talk about instantly.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?
31 January 2025 11:09
Bajaj should be all out on performance. With a high revving engine that should just scream at the top end, the RS250 should be a screamer. That’s what young riders who are looking for a sports bike want.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?
31 January 2025 11:09
Disagree. Since Indian conditions are more versatile, with more strong midrange torque is more practical. In the city it must be fun, not on wide open highways.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?
31 January 2025 11:09
The key is refinement. A smooth, vibration free engine that still provides good performance will be a big selling point if Bajaj can deliver. Not all want a raw aggressive bike to use daily.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?

Heat management is crucial. Many potential buyers will have a deal breaker if the engine runs too hot in traffic. Excellent heat dissipation is needed by Bajaj.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?

I would love to see some advanced technology like ride by wire throttle or multiple riding modes. That would make the RS250 stand out among the segment.
What will the Pulsar RS250’s design do to its target audience?
31 January 2025 11:09
Fuel efficiency shouldn't be ignored. It is for sure a performance bike, but way too many buyers in this segment still have an eye at mileage. What could be a winner is if Bajaj can give good performance but at the cost of not too much efficiency.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?
31 January 2025 11:09
Absolutely! Bajaj's ticket to dominating the 250cc segment could be the RS250. With their reputation for providing good bikes for the money, they could very well be the place to go for a sporty style ride that won’t break the bank.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?
31 January 2025 11:09
I'm skeptical. The competition in the 250cc segment is fierce and Bajaj has been struggling to make a mark. But unless they’re really bringing something revolutionary to the table it might just be a ‘me too’ product.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?
31 January 2025 11:09
It's all about the pricing. In any case, if Bajaj can undercut the competition by an enormous margin yet still have the capacity to convey comparable execution, they can give the business a shake. But they will also need to know how to market the clunker.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?

After-sales service and spare parts availability should not be forgotten. They have a wide network, which could help them have an edge over some of the competitors, particularly in smaller towns and cities.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?
31 January 2025 11:09
I think it will be down to the character of the bike. If it is just a rebadged Dominar with fairings, it may not make it. If they have developed a proper sports bike with a rev happy engine and aggressive ergonomics, they will attract a lot of young riders.
Will the Bajaj Pulsar RS250 be a game changer in the quarter liter segment for Bajaj?
31 January 2025 11:09
It will depend on how good it is compared to the KTM RC 200. The KTM has many buyers who stretch their budget for it. It could be a big hit if the RS250 can bring those thrills for a lower price.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?
31 January 2025 11:02
I love the RS250's headlight! It sure does look badass and lights up the road like a Christmas tree. My old bike made night riding feel so much less safe. It may be something of an overkill for city use, but on pitch black highways, it truly is a godsend. It also makes the bike stand out from a sea of boring generic headlights.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?
31 January 2025 11:02
In all honesty, I believe the headlight is more style than substance. The light spread for city riding isn’t great, but yeah – it looks cool. It has weird shadows and blind spots but it does take some getting used to. Then there is the high beam, which is always pointed at the sky. I always go for form over function.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?
31 January 2025 11:02
The headlight is ok, but not problem free. After riding in heavy rain, I’ve had problems with condensation building up inside. Apparently, it's a common problem. Bajaj should've sealed it better. I have not seen it affect performance yet, but it worries me about longterm reliability.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?
31 January 2025 11:02
I, as someone who upgraded the headlight on their RS250, can confirm that the stock setup is decent, but not great. The high beam is very disappointing, but the low beam is okay. I had installed some auxiliary lights, and now it's perfect. Unless you are serious about night riding, you are going to spend some cash.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?
31 January 2025 11:02
The headlight is made too big a deal about. Mostly it’s quite adequate for most riding situations. Is it the best out there? No. But it's far from the worst. The bike’s character alone is added to by the unique design. In addition, I have never had problems seeing or being seen on the road.
Why does the RS250 have a headlight?

I have ridden both and for my opinion, the Gixxer SF 250 is more refined. Generally the engine is smoother, and there is a slight increase in the overall quality of the build. Now the RS250 looks more aggressive but when it comes to riding experience, the Gixxer takes the cake for me. It is just more comfortable to use daily.
