It was hard at first, I came from a 150cc bike. However, after a few weeks, I got used to it. The trick is to utilize the engine’s torque and let it do the work when you’re in slow traffic.

It's a deal-breaker for me. I test rode one and it made me feel like I was wrestling a bear in city traffic. It's sure stable on highways but it's too much bike for daily commuting.

In my book though, that weight is actually a plus. The added mass helps take out bumps and potholes better than lighter bikes and it feels planted on the road. All you have to do is modify your riding style a little.

It's all about technique. Learn to use your body weight right when making u turns or parking lots. Once you get that down, the weight is not so big a deal.

It’s not for everybody, but I find it manageable. If you’re shorter or don’t have as much upper body strength, you may have difficulty. You better spend some time with it before deciding to buy.

It's noticeable, but distributed well. Once you get the hang of it, low speed handling is actually pretty good. And the weight lends it a premium feel that lighter bikes in this class don’t have.

For a single cylinder engine, it’s pretty damn smooth in my experience. Yes it does have some vibes at high RPMs, but nothing like my old Pulsar.

I would say Bajaj overhyped it a bit. For a Bajaj it's refined, but not in comparison to something like a Honda. At highway speeds you'll definitely feel some buzziness in the bars and pegs.

It all depends on how you ride it. It's butter smooth if you keep it in the mid range. Rev it out and you will get some vibrations. That’s true for most bikes in this class.

It's surprisingly smooth. It settled down nicely after the break in period. As long as you keep up with oil changes, it will stay that way.

It's a mixed bag. Below 5000 RPM, it's great. Then, the vibes begin creeping in above that. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely noticeable on long rides.

The Dominar 250 feels surprisingly more smoother in comparison to a KTM. It's all relative, I guess. I think Bajaj did a good job with refinement, for the price point.

The first 1000 km was pretty rough for mine, but it's definitely gotten much smoother since then. I think a lot of those complaints are from people who didn’t break in their engines properly.

Absolutely! I've done a couple 1000+ km trips on my D250 and it's been a champ. They are great for stability on the highways, and I can drive all day at 100 and not be exhausted.

It's decent, but not great. In fact, there’s no wind protection, and after a couple of hours, the seat becomes quite uncomfortable. Serious touring is better off with something like the RE Himalayan.

It’s hard to beat the price. Granted, it’s not perfect but show me another bike under 2 lakhs that can tour as comfortably. The trick is to set expectations and do some minor mods such as a better seat and windscreen.

It depends on your riding style I’d say. But if you can live with a relaxed pace and don’t mind making frequent fuel stops, you’re okay with it. It’s not a bike to cover big distances quickly, at least not two up with luggage, as the power feels lacking.

It's a jack of all trades, and a master of none. It's good for weekend trips, but not for a cross country tour. After a few hours, the vibrations get annoying and the small tank is annoying.

It’s pretty solid as a budget tourer. It has upright riding position and decent suspension for long rides. If you invest in some good luggage solutions, you’re set.

It's been surprisingly capable, I've found. At highway speeds the engine is smooth and the dual channel ABS offers confidence at every condition. It’s not a dedicated tourer, but it’s versatile enough for most people’s needs.
