It's all relative. The Tuono feels like a Gold Wing, coming from sportbikes. It's definitely on the sporty side compared to a real touring bike.

It’s a bit much for everyday riding, I’d say. It's intoxicating power, but you can't really use all of it on public roads. It's also not very good on fuel economy if you are commuting.

It's overkill, depending on your definition of "overkill." The Tuono Factory is the ultimate street bike experience if that’s what you’re after. It's not practical, that's not what it's meant to be. It's about the thrill.

Mine I’ve had for daily use, and it’s amazing, but I think it’s overkill. It’s hard to justify as a pure street bike because of the maintenance costs and fuel consumption.

Not overkill at all! The Tuono is a versatile machine. It’s track ready but still comfortable enough for long rides. It is adaptable to any road condition thanks to the electronic suspension.

But I'd argue that it's perfect for the street. It's more practical in the upright position with wide bars than a full on sport bike, but still all that performance when you want it.
What’s the character and riding experience like on the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory compared to its Japanese rivals?

There is no league for the Tuono. There is a character to that V4 engine that no inline four can match. It's just raw, visceral and you just feel like it's special in a way that Japanese bikes aren't.

Does the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory’s fuel consumption cross the line for potential buyers?

It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s definitely annoying. The fuel range is pretty pathetic on my Tuono, but I love my Tuono. On longer rides you get used to planning fuel stops.
