Does the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory’s fuel consumption cross the line for potential buyers?
Sukhmandeep Kaur 15 January 2025 09:22
The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory is a machine of high performance, but it comes at the expense of fuel mileage. Riders report getting between 25-35 mpg, which in turn means less than 100 miles on a full tank. This is a lot higher fuel consumption than many other motorcycles in its class. Many potential buyers debate whether the exhilarating performance of the Tuono deserves the thirsty nature of the beast. Others say the constant fuel stops spoil the riding experience, especially on longer jaunts. Others argue that the bike's fuel inefficiency is more than made up for in performance and character. The conversation tends to center around striking a balance between the need for high performance, and the practicalities of range and running costs.

It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s definitely annoying. The fuel range is pretty pathetic on my Tuono, but I love my Tuono. On longer rides you get used to planning fuel stops.
