USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Volkswagen Vento AllStar petrol variant is a solid choice for those seeking a blend of performance, comfort, and features in the compact sedan segment. My experience with this car has been positive, particularly in terms of its refined and powerful 1.6-litre petrol engine, which produces 105hp and 153Nm of torque. The five-speed manual transmission is smooth and responsive, making city driving and highway cruises equally enjoyable. The AllStar edition adds a touch of elegance with its Blue Silk colour, Linas alloy wheels, and black and grey interiors, which enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. However, its worth noting that the design, while stylish, is not as modern as some of its competitors. Despite this, the Vento AllStars robust build quality, excellent on-road dynamics, and comprehensive feature list make it a compelling option for buyers looking for a reliable and performance-oriented sedan.
Price
The Volkswagen Vento AllStar petrol variant is positioned in the mid-range of the Vento lineup, sitting above the Comfortline trim but below the Highline Plus. When it was launched, the ex-showroom price for this variant was around Rs. 9.5 lakh to Rs. 10.5 lakh, depending on the region. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, would typically range from Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 12.5 lakh. While these prices are competitive within its segment, they reflect the value added by the special edition features such as electrically adjustable ORVMs, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the distinctive Blue Silk colour. As an automotive reviewer, I find the pricing to be reasonable given the package of features and performance you receive.

Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 05:42 AM The mileage of the Volkswagen Vento AllStar petrol variant is a crucial factor for many buyers. With its 1.6-litre petrol engine, this car is expected to deliver a mileage of around 16.09 kmpl, as per ARAI certification. In real-world driving conditions, you can expect this figure to be slightly lower, but it remains competitive within its segment. For those concerned about running costs, this mileage is decent and should not be a major deterrent, especially considering the cars overall performance and comfort.
