USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Volkswagen Polo Cup car of 2011 is a formidable track machine that showcases Volkswagens commitment to motorsport and performance. From my experience, the Polo R Cup car stands out with its 1.4-litre TSI engine, which combines a turbocharger and a supercharger to deliver a potent 160 horsepower. This powertrain, coupled with a six-speed DSG transmission and a limited-slip differential, makes the car exceptionally agile and responsive on the track. The handling is razor-sharp, although it does understeer if driven aggressively, but this can be corrected with trail braking and precise throttle control. The braking system, borrowed from the Golf R32, is robust and effective, even without ABS. Overall, the Polo R Cup is a proper racecar that sets a high standard for saloon racing in India, making it an exciting choice for intermediate to advanced drivers.
Price
The Volkswagen Polo R Cup car was not a production vehicle available for public purchase, so it did not have a standard ex-showroom or on-road price. However, if we consider the closest production variant, the Volkswagen Polo 1.6 Highline, it gives us some insight. In 2011, the on-road price for the Polo 1.6 Highline in Mumbai was around Rs. 7,10,660. This price reflected the cars positioning as a performance-oriented variant, with the additional cost justified by its enhanced engine and performance capabilities. For those interested in the Polo R Cup, participation typically involved selection through a racing program rather than a direct purchase.
Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 09:49 PM When it comes to mileage, the Volkswagen Polo R Cup car is not designed for everyday driving and thus does not have a mileage figure relevant to typical road use. However, if youre considering the Polo 1.6 Highline as a road car, it offers a decent fuel efficiency. Under mixed driving conditions, the Polo 1.6 returns around 11 kmpl, with city driving yielding about 10 kmpl and highway driving around 12 kmpl. This makes it a reasonable choice for those who want a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.

Problem in VW Polo engine fan motor noise more even changed new. Paint quality is poor when white tape is sticked two days paint also comes together. Radiator cooling capacity is very less. Lower arm suspension are very weak need to adjust every 35,000 kms. Coolant liquid ducks more. Engine heating is more. Ecm problem makes all electric faults some times. Fuse kits are annual inspection required. Ground clearance need to improve height and under body quality need to increase. Mileage is around 14-16 maximum.

Best Features: Performance and Smoothness. Everything Ok

Pros: Body built quality good. Design and features performance efficiency pickup stylish high grade luxurious car. Loved it more

Cons: Seating groom space is less. Top sunroofs need to provide arm rest and rear Ac vents need to provide. It's sensor based. So all sensor parts must be covered with box. It keep safer sensors.
