Volkswagen Cross Polo has beautiful and specially designed exteriors with a lot of sportiness that give it a refreshing look. Engine and Gearbox

Volkswagen Cross Polo is powered by the same 1199cc, 3 Cylinder diesel engine which also powers the Polo hatchback. It generates maximum power of 75 Bhp @ 4200 rpm with maximum torque of 180 Nm @ 2000 rpm. It was earlier speculated that VW may launch the Cross Polo powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine with increased ground clearance but for now it is available with 1.2 litre diesel engine.

Mileage

The ARAI certified mileage of Cross Polo is 22.07 kmpl. Expect real-world figures to be less by 3-4 kmpl. The mileage in city would be around 14-16 kmpl under normal driving conditions.

Safety Features

Volkswagen Cross Polo has disk brakes at front and drum brakes at rear. For the safety of the passengers, it has Airbags for driver and front passenger, front passenger Airbag deactivation, safety steering column with telescopic element, three-point inertia reel seat belts with front belts having pretensioners, safety optimized front head restraints, ISOFIX mountings on outer rear seat for child seats, automatic activating hazard warning lights on full brake application, warning tone and lamp if front seat-belts remain unfastened, electronic immobiliser, Anti-theft alarm system, galvanised body and ABS with EBD.
