USER OPINION

Latest Updates
Friday, 21 February 2020 03:02 PM The Etios Cross was praised for its excellent quality and reliability, which made it popular among the taxi segment. However, its lightweight construction initially raised concerns about crash safety among Indian buyers, despite it scoring well in Global NCAP crash tests.
Friday, 21 February 2020 06:01 AM The production halt of the Etios Cross also led to changes in Toyotas manufacturing strategy. The idle capacity at the Toyota Kirloskar Motor plant in Bidadi is now being utilized by Maruti Suzuki for future models, highlighting the evolving partnership between the two companies.
Tuesday, 28 January 2020 07:54 PM The Etios Cross was part of Toyotas strategy to expand its market share in India, but it ultimately did not achieve the desired sales figures. The companys focus is now shifting towards SUVs and other models that are more in demand.
Tuesday, 31 December 2019 07:39 AM By the end of 2019, Toyota had decided to discontinue the production of the Etios and Etios Cross due to the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The company chose not to upgrade these models to meet the new standards. This decision marked the end of an era for the Etios series in India.
Monday, 01 April 2019 04:14 PM In April 2019, the Toyota Etios Cross, along with the entire Etios range, received an upgraded security system that included an alarm and immobiliser. This update was part of Toyotas efforts to enhance the safety features of the vehicle. I think this move was a positive step towards addressing customer concerns about vehicle security.
Tuesday, 01 July 2014 01:09 PM Despite its stylish updates, the Etios Cross did not see a significant rise in sales numbers. The vehicles design, although unique, was not universally appreciated, and it failed to match the desirability of its rivals in the market.
Tuesday, 01 July 2014 09:46 AM In the market, the Etios Cross competed with other hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo. However, it failed to gain the same level of popularity as its competitors, largely due to its design and perceived quality issues.
Thursday, 01 May 2014 11:45 AM The Toyota Etios Cross was known for its rugged design, featuring body cladding, skid plates, roof rails, and a redesigned grille. These features were intended to give the vehicle a more adventurous look, appealing to buyers who wanted a stylish and robust car. I believe the design was a good attempt to differentiate the Etios Cross from its competitors.
Thursday, 01 May 2014 09:10 AM The Etios Cross, like other Etios models, had a unique cabin layout with a central speedometer, which was not widely appreciated by critics. Despite this, the vehicle maintained a loyal customer base, particularly among those who valued its reliability and durability.
Sunday, 05 January 2014 01:39 AM In terms of technology, the Etios Cross came with features like dual airbags, an integrated audio system with Bluetooth, and ABS with EBD. These features were standard in the higher variants, making it a relatively safe and feature-rich option in its class.
