It has a good minimum ground clearance of 175mm for a bump-free ride and has a minimum turning radius of 5.4m for easy cruising in city traffic and in tight parking spots. It has a front and rear treads of 1535mm each. The front and rear overhang is 940mm and 980mm respectively. It has a kerb weight of 1320kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 55 litres.

It has a top speed of 200kmph and reaches 0-100kmph mark in 10 seconds with a drag coefficient of 0.27. It provides a mileage of 9 kmpl in the cities and 11 kmpl on the highways. The 1364cc, 1.4L, 4-cylinder Inline, 8-valve SOHC, common rail, Piezo injection fuel system based diesel engine has a maximum power of 87 bhp at 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of 205 Nm at 1800-2800 rpm and has a six speed manual transmission. It has a top speed of 180kmph and reaches 0-100kmph mark in 12.5 seconds with the drag coefficient of 0.27. It provides a mileage of 17 kmpl in the cities and 21 kmpl on the highways.

Brakes and Suspension

Toyota Corolla Altis 2014 has ventilated disk brakes at front and disk brakes at rear. The suspension system is a MacPherson Strut type with Stabiliser Bar at front and Torsion Beam type with Stabiliser Bar at rear.
