The Vista, initially named Indica Vista, failed to gain traction as a personal vehicle due to its association with the Indica, which is commonly used as a taxi. Despite facelifts and new features, the car did not meet customer expectations.

This update was expected to include several new features and improvements to the interior and exterior design. I think this facelift was a last-ditch effort to revive the models popularity.

This variant came with a better engine and several upgrades, including power windows, central locking, ABS with EBD, and a trip computer. The D90 also featured alloy wheels and dual airbags in the higher ZX trim. I believe these additions made the Vista more competitive in its segment.
