Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Indica V2 DLG DiCOR is a mixed bag when it comes to overall performance and user experience. On the positive side, it offers ample space and comfort, making it an excellent choice for family use. The hydraulic power steering and the cars ability to handle hilly terrain with ease are notable advantages. However, the engine noise and rough gearbox can be significant drawbacks. The cars build quality, particularly the plastic parts and suspension, also leave room for improvement. Despite these issues, the Indica V2 DLG DiCOR remains a value-for-money option due to its spacious interiors, good mileage, and robust performance on various terrains. If you prioritize space, fuel efficiency, and can overlook some of the mechanical and build quality issues, this car could be a good fit.
Price
The Tata Indica V2 DLG DiCOR was priced competitively in its time. The ex-showroom price for this variant ranged from 3.94 to 4.88 lakh, depending on the specific features and the BS-III or BS-II compliance. On-road prices would typically be higher, including additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could add around 50,000 to 1 lakh to the ex-showroom price. Given its pricing, the Indica V2 DLG DiCOR was positioned as a budget-friendly option that offered a lot of car for the money, making it an attractive choice for those looking for a reliable and spacious vehicle without breaking the bank.
