Ultimate car and good value car...
Finally bought the Yeti after a lot of research,agonizing over rumoured poor after sales service from Skoda,relative lack of popularity (read resale) and the price differential of two lakh over the XUV 500 .But the exhilaration at finally owning one and the blissful drive quality of the Elegance makes it all seem worthwhile as the two lakh price differential simply melts away.I am a retired man but at the wheel, feel I'm rich and a lucky one too!
Enjoy the great fit and finish,the solid build quality,the refinement in the trim levels,(even though the specs in Europe are quite superior). The responsive engine, the butter smooth transmission,the great sitting position,the flawless feedback ,the multi function options on the steering wheel and the MFD,the list is exhaustive.And I'm talking of driving in Bangalore which is so congested and pothole ridden that its difficult to select more than third gear 90 percent of the time!
I hope you find the enjoyment I have.While wishing you never have to experience what is often talked of as the legendary poor after sales service.Maybe Skoda would decide its better to save their reputation and straighten things out.That would be the icing on the cake and a small recognition of what the best car in the Indian motoring scene deserves.(But do protect yourself and choose the Drive Assure option!)
