Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC is a compelling addition to the luxury electric SUV segment in India. With its sleek design and cutting-edge technology, this vehicle offers a blend of comfort, performance, and sustainability. The 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen and the 15-speaker Burmester sound system are standout features that enhance the driving and passenger experience. However, the rear passenger space, although comfortable, is somewhat limited given the vehicles size. The EQS 450 4MATICs performance is impressive, with 355 BHP and 800 Nm of torque, making it a strong contender in its class. Overall, it is a solid choice for those seeking a luxurious and technologically advanced electric SUV, but it comes with a premium price tag that may deter some buyers.

Discussions and Questions Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic
What is the EQS 450 4Matic’s tech like in the daily grind?
15 January 2025 09:05
It's a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the features are great, like the driver assistance bit, but some of it is gimmicky. I've had a few glitches that required system restarts and I've even had a few BSOD's.
How does the Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic fair in the real world compared to the German manufacturer's claimed range?
15 January 2025 09:05
Haha it really depends on how you drive. When you're gentle with the accelerator and use the regen braking effectively you can actually get more range than the claimed range. Drive it like a typical Mercedes though, and you will come short.
How does the EQS 450 4Matic ride compared to the traditional S-Class?
15 January 2025 09:05
Next level ride quality in the EQS. That's not just about smoothness, but how it marries that with the instant responsiveness of the electric motor. It's a new kind of luxury.
The EQS 450 4Matic's exterior design grows on you over time, but is it a deal-breaker?
15 January 2025 09:05
That’s a polarizing design, but I think that’s the point. It's supposed to look different and mean the move to EVs. It’s successful in that sense, even though it’s not conventionally beautiful.
Is the Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic worth the big money?
15 January 2025 09:05
It's a mixed bag. It has an incredible interior and ride quality, but people love the exterior or they hate the exterior. If you are an early adopter and want the latest tech, I think it’s worth it, but maybe not if you want the best value.
