USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport is a significant upgrade to the standard XUV300, particularly for driving enthusiasts. The new mStallion engine, with its 131hp and 230Nm of torque, makes this compact SUV the most powerful in its segment. The engines refinement and the overboost function, which adds an extra 20Nm of torque under certain driving conditions, make it a joy to drive, especially in the mid-range where it delivers a strong surge of power. However, the long clutch travel and early clutch bite point might be a bit of a workout in traffic. The ride quality remains comfortable, although a firmer setup would have enhanced the sport aspect. Despite its high price and dated interiors, the XUV300 TurboSports performance, safety features like six airbags and a 5-star Global NCAP rating, and its overall driving dynamics make it a compelling choice for those who prioritize driving excitement.
Price
The Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport is priced competitively but on the higher side within its segment. The ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 10.35 lakh, which is still lower than some of its competitors like the Hyundai Venue N Line. However, once you factor in the on-road costs, including taxes and other charges, the price can escalate to around Rs 12-13 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. Despite being pricey, the TurboSport offers a unique blend of power, safety, and features that justify the cost for driving enthusiasts. Its important to note that the higher price is partly due to the advanced engine and the exclusive six-speed manual gearbox, which are key selling points for this variant.

Don’t buy this car not worth your money.

Bought this car recently and have only driven it 2500 km but car have shown it’s unreliability as the car literally broke down when it bumped into a small kerb yet there was no scratch anywhere but the knuckle and the axle broke, and after that I took a car trip to spiti on this car where this car showed that this is of no use as it didn’t start there at 6 degree celsius.

Best Features: Can breakdown anywhere.

Pros: Just the design.

Cons: Bad quality of product used putting the drivers life in danger as knuckle broke after a mild bump in kerb.
