Monday, 11 November 2024 01:48 PM The Mahindra Scorpio 2014-2022 S6 Plus 8 Seater, a popular variant, is powered by a 2179 cc mHawk diesel engine, producing 120 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It comes with a manual transmission and offers a mileage of 15.4 kmpl. This variant is priced around Rs. 11.65 lakhs. I think this model still holds its ground with its robust engine and decent mileage.
Monday, 11 November 2024 12:08 PM Mahindra has discontinued several variants of the Scorpio 2014-2022, including the S6 Plus and Intelli Hybrid S6 Plus, to make way for the new Scorpio N. These variants were known for their diesel efficiency and manual transmission. I believe this move signals a significant shift towards newer technology and design.
Monday, 11 November 2024 04:20 PM The Mahindra Scorpio S6 Plus Hybrid, another variant in the series, features a 2.2 litre diesel engine and sells at an on-road price of Rs. 14.35 lakh in Delhi. It includes safety features like airbags and child safety locks. I think the hybrid option is a good step towards fuel efficiency, but its a bit pricey for some buyers.
Monday, 11 November 2024 02:39 AM The Mahindra Scorpio N Z6 Diesel boasts several modern features, including a sunroof, height-adjustable driver seat, and a touchscreen interface. It is available in six different colors and offers seating for six or seven passengers. I believe these features make it a strong contender in the SUV market, despite the initial lack of AEB.
Friday, 14 April 2023 07:08 PM The Mahindra Scorpio N, the latest iteration of the Scorpio series, has been launched in India but lacks advanced safety features like autonomous emergency braking (AEB) for now. This feature will be introduced in a mid-life update. The Scorpio N Z6 Diesel variant is priced at Rs. 16.86 lakh (ex-showroom) in New Delhi and offers a 2198 cc engine with 172.45 bhp of power. I believe this omission might affect its appeal in a market increasingly focused on safety.

I got my red colored new Mahindra Scorpio few days ago. It comes with few aesthetic changes which I like the most. The engine used in it is the same peppy powerful but it is now doing its duty more silently. As company claims that they have made many changes, I am pretty disagree to this. I just found changes in front fascia while the side profile is same. Inside the cabin, dashboard is new other features are same. Another aspects of this SUV that is worth mentioning is the spacious and airy feeling in the cabin. The biggest handling problem of previous model is still remains in this SUV. So, If got a chance to exchange my car, I would change it with XUV500.

Few days backs, I bought new Mahindra Scorpio from Chandigarh. Now the face is more aggressive as compared to previous variant. The headlamps, bumper and grille are all new. The new Scorpio is ergonomically quite interesting with all the operational equipment well in reach. The new gearbox in the SUV gives it improved shift quality, clutch is light too so shifting gears needs less effort than before. One of the weakest point of the Mahindra was the ride and handling balance, and company has done great work to improve it. The tyres offer good grip which leads to comfort-ability while having long trips on tough roads. Considering the weight and price of the car, it definitely performs well in the dynamics section too. The after sales service of the company is good and there hasn't been much complaint about the same. The fuel efficiency of the new Scorpio has gone up nearly 1 kmpl, from the previously-claimed 14.7 kmpl.

Best Features: Ride and handling

Pros: Improved dynamics, ride and handling, comfortable, fuel efficient

Cons: Doubtful build quality

The best ever feature of Mahindra Scorpio is the Micro hybrid Technology. I feel that Mahindra should lay more emphasis on this feature of Scorpio because it is really valuable.

Mahindra should market the environment friendly Micro Hybrid Technology more for Mahindra as it will definitely get more customers. Scorpio is already excellent vehicle. with Micro hybrid Technology it has become even better.

The changed Front grill with the heavier bumper gives Scorpio an even Grander look. Mahindra Scorpio suspension is the best.

Even my 74 year old Grandmother knows the difference between a smooth ride and a rough ride. She always wants to travel in Scorpio because the ride is much more smoother. Suggesting Mahindra Scorpio is always a pleasure.
