Latest Updates
Friday, 13 January 2023 05:42 AM The overwhelming response to the All-New Scorpio-N has been nothing short of remarkable. The reservation period starting at 11 am today witnessed a record-breaking 25,000 bookings within the first minute and 1 lakh registrations within a span of 30 minutes. This translates to an ex-showroom value of Rs 18,000 crores for Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. The Scorpio-N has been designed with customer needs in mind, and this response is a testament to the strong demand for this latest offering from Mahindra.
Friday, 13 January 2023 05:43 AM The results of the latest Global NCAP crash tests are quite encouraging, especially for the made-in-India vehicles. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has scored a five-star rating for adult occupant protection, while it was able to score only three-star for child occupant protection. This is the first time a made-in-India vehicle has achieved this rating.Apart from the Mahindra Scorpio-N, Global NCAP also tested the Maruti Suzuki Swift, S-Presso, and Ignis. All of these vehicles have also scored well in the crash tests, providing further evidence of the safety and quality of Made-in-India vehicles. These results are a testament to the efforts of the automobile industry in India to produce safe and reliable vehicles. This will also encourage more people to purchase locally-made vehicles, knowing that they are safe and secure.
Monday, 29 May 2023 07:58 PM Mahindra has introduced a new S5 variant for the Scorpio Classic, positioning it between the base S and the top-tier S11 variants. This move is expected to fill the gap in the pricing and feature spectrum of the Scorpio Classic lineup. I think this will make the Scorpio Classic more appealing to a broader range of buyers.
Monday, 29 May 2023 01:30 PM The Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5 comes equipped with a powerful mHawk 4-cylinder engine, featuring a variable geometry turbocharger and common rail direct injection technology. It produces 97 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. I believe this engine will provide the necessary power and efficiency for both city and off-road driving.
Monday, 29 May 2023 09:48 AM In terms of features, the S5 variant of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic includes essential safety features such as dual airbags, ABS, and a collapsible steering column. However, it lacks some of the advanced features available in the S11 variant, like projector headlamps and a touchscreen infotainment system. I think this balance of safety and affordability will be attractive to many buyers.
Monday, 29 May 2023 10:47 AM The pricing for the Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5 is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be competitive and fall between the prices of the S and S11 variants. This strategic pricing could help Mahindra capture a larger market share in the SUV segment. I believe the pricing will be a key factor in the success of this new variant.
Monday, 29 May 2023 08:34 AM The Mahindra Scorpio Classic, including the new S5 variant, is known for its robust design and muscular frame, making it a favorite among those who value both style and durability. The new S5 variant maintains this aesthetic while offering a more accessible entry point into the Scorpio Classic family. I think the design will continue to be a major selling point for this SUV.

A bit bumpy when going over dead roads

Pramod Kumar | 2 years ago

My father's Scorpio S11 diesel manual certainly offers a great driving experience, but as a 6-foot-tall person, I can definitely understand the issue with comfort. It can be a bit bumpy when going over dead roads, speed breakers, and off-roading. To make the ride smoother, I would recommend investing in quality shock absorbers and suspension upgrades. This will help to reduce the amount of impact felt by passengers. Additionally, investing in quality tires with a higher sidewall can also help to improve the ride quality.

Can you provide more information regarding Diesel exhaust fluid? When should you fill it? Is it available in fuel pumps? Do you need to fill the fluid each time you fill diesel?

I believe that all models should provide front-facing 3rd row seats, like the ones found on the Innova, Marazzo, and Ertiga, as standard across all models. This way, customers have more options when choosing a vehicle and can feel more confident when making their purchase. Additionally, it would make for a more comfortable ride for those in the 3rd row as they would be able to face forward.
