Mahindra e-Verito Electric D6

About
The Mahindra e-Verito Electric D6 is a full-size electric sedan based on the Mahindra Verito, which was originally a diesel-powered car. It is powered by a 72V 3-phase AC Induction Motor that produces 41 hp and 91 Nm of torque, paired with a direct drive single-speed transmission. The car features a spacious interior with a grey-beige dashboard, power windows, and a 2-DIN audio system, although it lacks some advanced infotainment features. The e-Verito supports fast charging, which can fully charge the battery in under 2 hours, and it also includes the REVive feature for emergency range extension. With its reliable battery technology, all-India roadside assistance, and low operating costs, the e-Verito is a practical choice for those seeking a comfortable and economical electric vehicle for daily city use.

USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra e-Verito Electric D6 is a practical and comfortable electric sedan, making it a viable option for daily city commutes. While it may not excel in terms of design, with a decade-old look that reminds one of the Mahindra-Renault Logan, it compensates with its spacious interiors and a generous boot space of 510 liters. The cars silent drive and regenerative braking system enhance the driving experience, and the REVive feature, which provides additional range in emergencies, is a significant plus. However, the limited range of up to 140 km and the lack of advanced features at its price point are notable drawbacks. Despite these, the e-Veritos low running and maintenance costs, along with its reliable battery and motor technology, make it a solid choice for those prioritizing economy and comfort in their daily drives.
Price
The Mahindra e-Verito Electric D6 is priced at around Rs. 11.80 lakh ex-showroom in India. When you factor in the on-road costs, including taxes and registration, the price can go up to approximately Rs. 13-14 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. While this may seem steep for an electric car with limited range, its important to consider the long-term savings on fuel and maintenance. The e-Veritos economical running costs, coupled with its five-year or 100,000 km warranty, can offset the higher initial investment over time. However, the price could be a deterrent for some buyers who expect more features and a longer range for the money.

Best Features: Needs to popularise the real comfort of the car

Pros: Spacious and comfortable for long journey

Cons: Style roop top needs to be modify. Spare parts are not available in stock in many authorised dealers.
