Our take on this /// Verdict
The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder is a masterpiece that blends stunning design, exceptional performance, and a unique driving experience. Despite being labeled as a lifestyle car, it packs a punch with its 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 610 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmh in just 3.4 seconds. The cars aluminum and carbon fiber structure ensures remarkable torsional rigidity, making it almost as sturdy as its coupe counterpart. The soft top, which retracts in 17 seconds, adds to its allure without compromising on performance. While it has some quirks, such as limited rear visibility and hard seats, the overall driving experience is refined and engaging, especially with the ANIMA system adjusting performance modes seamlessly. For those who want a supercar that is both a head-turner and a thrill on the road, the Huracán Spyder is an excellent choice.
Price
In India, the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder comes with a hefty price tag, reflecting its exclusivity and performance. The ex-showroom price for the Huracán LP610-4 coupe starts at around Rs 3.43 crore, and the Spyder variant is expected to command a small premium over this, likely in the range of Rs 3.6 to Rs 3.8 crore ex-showroom. When you factor in taxes, registration, and other costs, the on-road price could easily exceed Rs 4.5 crore. While this is a significant investment, it is justified by the cars unparalleled performance, luxurious interior, and the prestige of owning a Lamborghini. For those who can afford it, the Huracán Spyder offers a unique blend of style, power, and exclusivity that few other cars can match.
Latest Updates
Wednesday, 08 May 2024 12:53 AM
Lamborghini has announced that the Huracán family, including the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder, will be replaced by a new hybrid super sports car by the end of 2024. This marks the end of an era for the naturally aspirated V10 engine that has been a hallmark of the Huracán series. I think this transition will be exciting, but its also a bit sad to see the V10 go.
Tuesday, 01 January 2019 08:45 AM
The Huracán EVO Spyder, an evolution of the LP 610-4 Spyder, was launched in 2019 with significant upgrades, including a new front end design and improved downforce. The EVO also features Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and Lamborghini All-Wheel Steering (LAWS), enhancing both city driving and high-speed performance. I believe these updates made the Huracán even more appealing to performance enthusiasts.
Tuesday, 15 September 2015 02:49 AM
In 2015, Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder, a convertible version of the Huracán LP 610-4. This model retains the powerful V10 engine and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission of its coupé counterpart, while adding an ultra-lightweight soft top that opens in just 17 seconds. I think the Spyder version brings a new level of driving excitement with its open-top design.
Tuesday, 04 March 2014 06:50 AM
The Huracán LP 610-4, including the Spyder model, features advanced technology such as the ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management) system, which allows the car to adapt to different driving modes. This system impacts the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive, and ESC handling, making the car versatile for various driving conditions. I believe this technology has been a game-changer for Lamborghini in terms of performance and driver experience.

Lamborghini premiered the Huracán LP 610-4 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, marking a significant step forward in super sports car technology. The Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder, with its hybrid chassis made from carbon fiber and aluminum, offers exceptional lightweight and high-performance capabilities. I think the innovative materials and design make this car a standout in its class.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 05:51 AM
The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder is not a car for the mileage-conscious buyer. With a combined fuel efficiency of around 12.5 liters per 100 kilometers, it is clear that this supercar is built for performance rather than economy. In Indian driving conditions, you can expect even lower mileage due to traffic and road conditions. However, for those who are considering this car, fuel efficiency is likely the last of their concerns. The real focus is on the exhilarating driving experience and the status symbol it represents.
