Honda Civic Diesel (NEW)

Honda, a Japanese automobile manufacturing company has now become a common name in Indian market. It has given a lot of exclusive sedans and hatchbacks to Indian market which got both success and praise here. In 1990s, Honda first introduced Civic, a line of compact and subcompact cars which now established itself completely in Indian market as a major luxurious brand name. Now, as per the latest buzz, Honda is planning to launch the 2015 Civic in Indian market by 2016. Also, later that year, a diesel variant of that model will also be available to everyone if things pan out well for Honda Civic 2015.

Exterior

The exterior of Honda Civic 2015 is a complete blend of style, uniqueness and impressive design. It has a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres and its kerb weight ranges between 1243-1305kgs. It has a front and rear track of 1499mm and 1521mm respectively.

Interior

The interior of Honda Civic 2015 is also a complete combination of luxury, space and comfort with advanced and unique features. Engine and Gearbox

Honda Civic 2015 has a powerful 1798cc, 1.8L, In-line 4-cylinder, 16-valve SOHC i-VTEC, Aluminium-alloy cylinder head, Drive-by-Wire throttle system, Eco Assist System, MPFI, Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer based petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 140 bhp at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 174 Nm at 4300 rpm and has both five speed manual as well automatic gearbox transmission. It has a compression ratio of 10.6:1 and bore and stroke of 81mm and 87.3mm respectively. It also has an ECON button which upon pushing makes the engine operate in more environmental friendly way. It has a good average mileage of 13.2kmpl. Honda will also add a diesel engine to this model after few months of its launching.

Braking and Suspension

Honda Civic 2015 has power-assisted ventilated front disc brakes of 282mm diameter and solid rear disc brakes of 259mm diameter. The suspension system is a McPherson Strut type with Stabilizer Bar at front and Multi-Link type with Stabilizer Bar at rear. Also, this Civic has Motion-Adaptive Electric Power-Assisted Rack-and-Pinion steering with Lock-to-Lock steering wheel turns.
