Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda City S is a stalwart in the Indian automotive market, and for good reason. It offers an unparalleled blend of comfort, reliability, and performance. The 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine is a joy to drive, with its smooth and responsive nature making it ideal for both city driving and long highway journeys. The interior is where the City truly shines, with its spacious and well-appointed cabin, excellent seat comfort, and generous features like rear AC vents and a touchscreen infotainment system. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the low ground clearance, which can be a concern on rough roads, and the outdated infotainment system compared to some competitors. Despite these, the Honda City S remains a solid choice for those seeking a reliable, comfortable, and feature-rich sedan.
Price
The Honda City S is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 11.82 lakh for the base variant, while the top variant retails for approximately Rs 16.35 lakh. On-road prices, however, can vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around Rs 14-18 lakh for the S variant, including all the necessary taxes and registration fees. Given its robust feature list, comfortable ride, and reliable performance, the Honda City S offers good value for money, especially considering its long-term reliability and low maintenance costs.

A very good car but with low ground clearence which does not suit the Indian roads.
Whats the fun of a new variant when so many features are missing! No match to Hyundai verna...Any comments anyone?
Excellent car with great looks.
A car everybody wants to buy...
Please correct the kerb weight of Honda City Manual, it is 1100 kgs not 1155. 1155 kg is of V automatic.
