Thursday, 15 December 2011 06:17 AM In December 2011, Honda launched the facelifted City in India, introducing five variants: Corporate, E, S, V, and V (Sunroof). This update included a new front grille design, new front and rear bumpers, and new taillamp designs. The ground clearance was also increased to 165 mm. I think this facelift really enhanced the cars appeal in the Indian market.
Tuesday, 30 November 2010 05:10 PM In November 2010, the Honda City continued to dominate the mid-sized sedan segment in India, holding a 35% market share. This success was largely due to its reliable performance and feature-rich offerings. I believe the Citys popularity was a testament to Hondas commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Monday, 20 September 2010 07:43 PM In the latter part of 2010, Honda continued to enhance the Citys features, including the addition of eco-driving indicators and dual front airbags across all models. These updates were part of Hondas ongoing effort to improve safety and fuel efficiency. I think these additions made the City an even more compelling choice for Indian buyers.
Tuesday, 15 June 2010 07:29 PM By 2010, the Honda City had established itself as a leader in the mid-sized sedan segment in India, known for its fuel efficiency and comfortable ride. Saturday, 10 April 2010 05:22 AM The 2010 Honda City in India was praised for its spacious interior, comfortable seating, and ample boot space. These features made it a favorite among families and business users alike. I believe the Citys practicality was one of its strongest selling points.
Thursday, 25 March 2010 07:51 PM Hondas decision to offer both manual and automatic transmission options for the 2010 City in India helped in appealing to a wider audience. This flexibility in transmission choices was seen as a significant advantage over competitors. I think this move was a smart strategy by Honda.
Saturday, 20 February 2010 02:13 PM The 2010 Honda City in India was also noted for its improved ground clearance, which enhanced its performance on Indian roads. This tweak was particularly beneficial for navigating through rough road conditions. I believe this adjustment made the City more suitable for Indian driving conditions.
Friday, 15 January 2010 01:54 AM In early 2010, Honda emphasized the Citys fuel efficiency, highlighting that it could achieve up to 17 km/l in city driving conditions. This focus on fuel economy resonated well with Indian consumers who are often budget-conscious. I think this emphasis was crucial in maintaining the Citys market lead.
Saturday, 31 January 2009 04:29 AM In January 2009, Honda expanded the Citys availability in India by introducing the 1.3-litre variant, in addition to the existing 1.5-litre model. Best Sedan for City Drive

I’m using this car since last 9 years. Even after i also have Jeep Compass and Skoda Rapid TDI AT from last 3 years, but still i keep the only petrol car in my family, to very honest still this car interior far batter than my Skoda Rapid. This car really fun to drive, basically in city. It’s really pleasant to drive. Mileage at city is 11-13 km/L and in highway is run below 100 than 17-18 km/L if 120-150 than 12-13 km/L. I also used first gen i-20 petrol around 1.5 year of my uncle, than give me very low mileage 9-11 km/L in city 12-14 km/L in highway. The Odometer is say 1,22,000 km. from last 3 years i rarely use this car, but still i didn’t face any issues in engine. Only some time my battery goes down. I drive this car maximum at 185 km/hr with full load 5 passengers from Ahmedabad to Vadora 90km express highway in 30-35 minutes. The stock tyre 175/65 r15 michelin xm2 change at 75,000 km than i upgraded with 195/60 r15 primacy 3st. Currently new 2020 honda city have also the same i-vtec engine. If u don’t have more run 15,000 km/year than go for this petrol version.

Best Features: Extremely good interior and with superb drive quality.

Pros: Ride quality, intirior & exterior dynamics, spacious, powerful (0-100km/h) in 9 sec and very low maintenance.

Cons: Bit over priced compared to competitors. Chassis build quality should be improved.

Reviewing my Used 2010 Honda City-V

Its a very comfortable car, the mileage is very low for my liking but the engine is very powerful, the pickups are amazing in 2nd & 3rd gear it struggles a bit after crossing 180 but it should go above 200. Ground clearance is the biggest issue we face on Indian roads.

Best Features: I-VTEC Engine, Music system, Boot space, Rear Arm rest.

Pros: i like a lot of things about it, Its reliable, powerful, comfortable, good music system, seats are comfortable, boot space is amazing, its ready to go anytime.

Cons: The Ground clearance is the biggest issue we face in India, the mileage is too low in city(8-9 kmpl), parts of the car are very costly, suspension is very soft for high speed runs.
