USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Fiat Palio Stile Sport (2011) is a compelling option for those seeking a blend of performance, comfort, and value. Owners have praised its sturdy build, spacious interiors, and robust engine performance, particularly the 1.6-liter petrol engine that delivers 100 BHP. The cars aerodynamics and stability at high speeds are notable, making it a joy to drive on highways. However, some drawbacks include a heavy clutch and an outdated dashboard design. Despite these, the overall driving experience, combined with its feature-packed trim and competitive pricing, make it a solid choice for those looking for a powerful and comfortable hatchback.
Price
The Fiat Palio Stile Sport (2011) was priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant was approximately Rs. 4.44 lakh, while the on-road price would have been around Rs. 5.3 lakh to Rs. 5.5 lakh, depending on the location and additional features. This pricing made it an attractive option, offering a balance of performance, features, and affordability. For instance, the 1.6 Sport variant came loaded with alloys, tubeless tyres, central locking, rear wipers, fog lamps, and a rear defogger, making it a value-for-money proposition.
Latest Updates
Saturday, 17 July 2010 11:05 AM Fiat announced the discontinuation of the Palio Stile, including the Sport variant, from the Indian market due to low sales. The decision was part of Fiats strategy to focus on more successful models. The Palio Stile Sport, known for its 1.6-liter petrol engine producing 100 bhp, had been a favorite among those seeking a sporty drive. I think this move was inevitable given the competitive hatchback segment in India.
Wednesday, 20 January 2010 07:42 PM The Fiat Palio Stile Sport was praised for its performance and stability. Owners noted that the car felt very stable at speeds over 100 km/h and handled well with better tires. The 1.6-liter engine provided an amazing response in all gears, making it a joy to drive. I believe this stability was a key selling point for this model.
Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:10 AM Fiat and Tata Motors launched the Palio Stile, including the Sport variant, with a focus on fresh looks and improved comfort. The Sport model was available in limited colors, including a striking Ferrari Red. This launch aimed to capture a larger share of the hatchback market in India. I think the limited color options added to its exclusivity.
Sunday, 30 August 2009 05:52 PM The Palio Stile Sport received positive reviews for its interior design, featuring dual-color dashboards and plush beige interiors. However, some owners criticized the lack of new interior designs despite the cars fresh launch. The cars spacious rear and sufficient cubby holes were highlights. I believe the interiors could have been more modern.
Thursday, 09 July 2009 01:50 AM Fiat introduced the Palio Stile Sport with a 1.6-liter petrol engine, offering a mileage of 13.1 kmpl. The car was known for its excellent acceleration and the fact that the air conditioner did not significantly load the engine. This made it a good choice for both city and highway driving. I think the mileage was quite reasonable for its performance.
Monday, 15 June 2009 04:54 AM The Palio Stile Sport was part of Fiats strategy to revamp its offerings in the Indian market. The car was marketed as a sporty version with enhanced features like central locking and a digital odometer. The price ranged from Rs. 3.41 lakh to Rs. 4.44 lakh for the Sport model. I believe this pricing was competitive but not enough to boost sales significantly.
Wednesday, 20 May 2009 03:38 PM Fiat and Tata Motors emphasized the importance of the hatchback segment in India, with the Palio Stile Sport targeting the 70-75% of the market that prefers hatchbacks. The cars sporty looks and comforts were highlighted as key selling points. I think this focus on the hatchback segment was a wise move, but execution was lacking.
Friday, 10 April 2009 09:21 AM The Palio Stile Sport was noted for its handling and stability, particularly at high speeds. Owners praised the cars ability to maintain stability even when cornering at speeds over 100 km/h. This made it a reliable choice for long drives. I believe the handling was one of its strongest features.
Sunday, 15 March 2009 04:31 AM Fiats partnership with Tata Motors was expected to boost the sales of the Palio Stile, including the Sport variant. However, despite the joint efforts, the sales remained low, averaging around 200 units per month. I think the partnership did not yield the expected results for this model.
Friday, 20 February 2009 08:04 AM The launch of the Palio Stile Sport was accompanied by a facelift that included new front, rear, and side designs, inspired by the Grande Punto. This redesign aimed to give the car a fresh and sporty look. I believe the design updates were a step in the right direction but not enough to revive sales.
Mileage
Friday, 22 November 2024 09:26 AM The mileage of the Fiat Palio Stile Sport (2011) is reasonable, given its performance-oriented engine. Owners have reported a combined mileage of around 13-14 kmpl with air conditioning, which is decent for a car in this segment. On highways, the mileage can improve to around 15 kmpl. While it may not be the most fuel-efficient option, the trade-off for its powerful engine and comfortable ride is well worth it for many users.

Yes, this has the best engine in the b+ segment people who want a perol engine small car pls go for this 1 because this can last for long time and i know many people who crossed 200000ks in the old palio with the same engine and did not give much problem even after that.I dont know if Fiat is going to keep this 1.6 engine for the new palio coming next year so people who love driving, low budget, no worries about mileage should go for this now because no other cae in B+ segment can match this engine, all other car have 1.2L engenes and they dont have the same pulling power and cost more than palio. Punto 1.4L,90bhp may do the job but it cost almost 1L moer than palio so dont miss this!!!!!!!!......

My decision to buy Palio was swinging between Multijet and Petrol and I settled for Sport 1.6. My choice is right. Driven the car 3000+ KMs and no issues.

Love the power, speed and comfort driving. Smooth, pleasant and power hungry engine. Normally drive 80 - 120Km/H speed. People say Indian roads are not good for high speed driving; yes, partially true.

Driven this car 140 KM/H in the Madurai KanyaKumari Highway. Since the road work is going on I have to slow down. Those who love driving, low budget, no worries about mileage - simply go for this Italian Beauty.
