General information and overview

The Ferrari FF is a four‑seat, four‑wheel‑drive grand tourer with a front‑mounted 6.25‑litre V12 producing around 650 bhp and roughly 683 Nm, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and an electronically controlled AWD system that supplies drive to the front wheels only when needed, preserving driving feel while offering all‑weather usability; it provides unusually generous rear passenger space for a Ferrari and a boot of about 450 litres (expandable to around 800 litres with seats folded), plus magnetorheological dampers and carbon‑ceramic brakes to match its dual GT and supercar roles.
December 12, 2025
The Ferrari FF, launched in India around 2011 at Rs 3.42 crore ex-showroom Delhi, is a 2-door, 4-seater grand tourer succeeding the 612 Scaglietti, powered by a front-mid-mounted 6,262cc V12 engine belting out 652 bhp and 683 Nm, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and pioneering electronic all-wheel drive for superior traction on India's diverse roads. It sprints 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, maxes at 335 km/h, and boasts a cavernous boot—450 litres with seats up, 800 litres down—plus full adult rear headroom, making it family-viable for supercar standards. I appreciate its balanced chassis that handles potholes and monsoons adeptly without dulling the razor-sharp steering or V12 symphony. Available in multiple colours through Ferrari India, it's a rare sight, blending GT comfort with track prowess; key aspects like AWD usability, luggage space, and naturally aspirated power make it the ultimate buy for Indian enthusiasts wanting performance, practicality, and prestige in one package—perfect for high-speed autobahns or spirited weekend escapes.

Our Verdict

Expert opinion and recommendation

I find the Ferrari FF to be a compelling balance of outright Ferrari performance and usable everyday practicality in India; its 6.25‑litre V12 delivers blistering acceleration and a 335 km/h top speed while the clever electronically managed four‑wheel‑drive system preserves the classic rear‑drive feel yet adds confidence in varied road and weather conditions.
December 12, 2025
I find the Ferrari FF to be a groundbreaking grand tourer that redefines Ferrari's supercar formula with its innovative all-wheel-drive system and practical four-seater layout, making it the most versatile Prancing Horse I've encountered for Indian roads. Powered by a thunderous 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 652 bhp and 683 Nm of torque, it catapults from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and touches a top speed of 335 km/h, yet its electronic AWD—using front clutches without a heavy centre differential—ensures it remains a pure Ferrari at heart, delivering glorious power slides and precise handling even in slippery monsoon conditions common in India. The enormous boot offers 450 litres with seats up or 800 litres folded, perfect for long highway drives from Mumbai to Goa or Delhi hill runs, while rear headroom accommodates adults comfortably. In India, where supercars often feel impractical, the FF stands out for blending raw performance with usability, laughing off rough patches on our pothole-ridden highways thanks to its compliant chassis. Maintenance through official Ferrari dealers is steep, but the driving thrill and presence make it a buy for those seeking a do-it-all exotic that elevates every journey into an event—ideal if you crave supercar excitement without daily compromises.

Latest Updates

Recent news and announcements

In recent sightings, the Ferrari Purosangue has been spotted in various locations, including Roswell, Georgia, and Monaco. These sightings highlight the vehicles global appeal and its presence in different markets. The Purosangues exclusive nature, with every production slot sold out until 2026, adds to its allure. I believe its rarity will only increase its desirability among car enthusiasts.
November 11, 2024
Ferraris partnership with other companies, such as the recent announcement with IBM for fan engagement and data analytics, does not directly impact the Purosangue but highlights the companys broader strategy to enhance its brand and technological capabilities. This partnership could indirectly benefit future models by integrating advanced data analytics and fan engagement tools.
November 10, 2024
The overall reception of the Purosangue has been positive, with many praising its performance, design, and the fact that it stays true to Ferraris heritage despite being an SUV. The vehicles ability to balance family practicality with supercar performance has been particularly noted. I think this balance is what makes the Purosangue a game-changer in the luxury vehicle market.
July 12, 2023
The Ferrari Purosangues technical specifications are as impressive as its design. The vehicle features an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, ensuring both performance and traction. The engine, derived from the 812 Competizione, includes F1-derived engine mapping and revised internals for a linear power curve. This attention to detail underscores Ferraris commitment to engineering excellence.
July 12, 2023
The Purosangues exclusivity is further emphasized by its limited production run and high price point. This strategy aligns with Ferraris tradition of creating rare and highly sought-after vehicles. The vehicles curb weight of 4,481 pounds and EPA estimated fuel economy, though not yet fully disclosed, are expected to reflect its performance-oriented design.

Price

Pricing details and changes

The FF was launched in India with an ex‑showroom Delhi price of Rs 3.42 crore when it arrived, and market listings and dealers have shown on‑road and later recorded prices around Rs 3.4–3.8 crore depending on taxes, registration and optional equipment, which typically pushes the on‑road cost significantly higher in Indian metros.
December 12, 2025
In India, the Ferrari FF's ex-showroom price hovers around Rs 3.79 to 4.56 crore based on last recorded figures from major platforms, though as an imported supercar, actual tags from authorised dealers like those in Delhi or Mumbai often hit Rs 4-5 crore depending on customisation and import duties. On-road pricing escalates significantly to Rs 5-6 crore or more in metros like Delhi, factoring in 28-30% GST, road tax (up to 15% in some states), registration, insurance (around Rs 10-15 lakh annually for such high-value assets), and green cess for large engines—pushing the total ownership cost well beyond Rs 6 crore in high-tax states like Karnataka or Maharashtra. I view this as a premium justified by the FF's rarity and exclusivity in India, where only a handful exist; it's not a volume seller but a statement piece for collectors. Compared to rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador, the FF offers better practicality at a similar entry point, but buyers must budget Rs 50 lakh+ yearly for servicing, tyres, and fuel. If you're financing, EMIs could exceed Rs 5-7 lakh monthly over 5 years—steep, yet the investment holds value in the appreciating supercar market here, making it a smart long-term buy for wealth display and pure driving joy.

Mileage

Fuel efficiency information

Real‑world running in India is thirsty—official efficiency aids like stop‑start and smart charging improve economy modestly, but expect low single‑digit kmpl figures in city use and perhaps low teens on long highway runs given the 6.25‑litre V12 and supercar performance hardware.
December 12, 2025
I estimate the Ferrari FF's real-world mileage in India at 4-6 kmpl city and 8-10 kmpl highway with its thirsty 6.3-litre V12, leading to massive running costs of Rs 20-30/km on premium fuel. For mileage-focused buyers, skip it—opt for efficient exotics if costs matter, as annual fuel alone could top Rs 10 lakh for moderate use.

The new Ferrari FF exhibits a stunning body style made to impress the onlooker.

The new Ferrari FF exhibits a stunning body style made to impress the onlooker. The shooting brake-like body style is very unique and reflects its versatility and craftiness. The front exhibits body colour bumpers both on the rear and the front, chrome finished door handles and side mirrors and mental finished-spokes in the alloy wheels. The front is quite similar to the Italia 458 with its extended and low-line version while the rear design is in the form of a hatch. The interior is quite spacious as compared to the other Ferrari cars available.

It can easily accommodate four people ad provides an excellent ride comfort with a large luggage storage of 450 litres. The storage can be extended by folding the rear seats up to 800 litres. The car provides a high quality infotainment service by the dual-5inch screen on the instrument panel, centre dash touch screen and an optional screen on the front of the passenger. The screen displays speed, rpm and gear to facilitate the driver and the passengers. With its dynamic control systems and four-wheel drive technology the Ferrari FF delivers high standards of performance.
