Ferrari Purosangue 4-Door Supercar Unleashed - Coming to India!

Ferrari has unboxed the Purosangue, which it describes as its first "four-door, four-seat" model. Ferrari's long-awaited Purosangue will share space with the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga. After seeing the metallic car at the Ferrari design headquarters (Centro Style) in Maranello, we can see that it is no ordinary super SUV.

A more important factor is the need to reduce drag and optimize airflow.  The "aero bridge" on the edge of the hood is an important part of the aero package. Purosangue's tailgate folds back and can be opened up to 73 degrees, providing the easiest access to the back seat of a Ferrari. Two separate rear seats with adjustable seats and backrests make the occupants sportier. The rear seat centre console has a seat option, with access to the 373-litre boot from the rear seat.

Ferrari's unique approach to the Purosangue is also reflected in the engine selection. Purosangue is launched with a new 6.5-litre naturally aspirated 65-degree V12 petrol engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 725 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 716 Nm at 6250 rpm. Engine power is sent to all four wheels via a two-speed all-wheel drive unit at the front and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission at the rear. Gearshift times are an improvement over Ferrari's old seven-speed DCT, and gearshifts are timed to "emphasize the sound of the V12". 

Deliveries in Europe are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2023. But right-wing markets such as India may not receive it until the second half of the year. Automakers are confident that Purosangue production will not exceed 20% of total production. But the waiting time for delivery is expected to be more than a year. 

The expected price of Ferrari Purosangue in India may start from INR 6 crores (estimated, ex-showroom). Combining exhausting performance with unprecedented practicality, Purosangue is the ultimate Ferrari for India.
