Chevrolet Optra Magnum Max (Diesel)

Chevrolet is one of those American automobile companies which has greatly excelled itself since its arrival and leaves a good impression on world stage with stylish design and high performance of their vehicles. Chevrolet Optra gained immense popularity on its arrival in Indian as well as International market. Later, after some years, a restyled version was launched with new diesel and petrol engines keeping in prospect the needs of Indian customers. Chevrolet Optra Magnum was that sedan which gave a new definition to Chevrolet in Indian market. It was well praised and also won some awards. Later, it was discontinued to introduce some another model from Chevrolet India but it was a great sedan and worth remembering with some exciting features and good performing engines.

The exterior of Chevrolet Optra Magnum gives a stylish and beautiful look with stunning features. It has a dual-post Chevy front grille with company's logo and classic boot eye, almond like front headlights, average looking bonnet, body colored front bumper with air dam surrounded by round fog lamps on both sides, elegant door handles with chrome grips, nicely finished chrome inserts on body mouldings, body colored ORVMs with integrated eye-catching chromed indicators, waistline moulding, sporty 15-inch steel and alloy wheels, rear license plate with chrome garnishing, rear windshield with defogger and stylish rear LED tail lights. Chevrolet Optra Magnum's 1991cc, 2.0L, In-line 4-cylinders, EGR cooler, TCDi diesel engine has a maximum power of 119.3 bhp at 3000 rpm and a maximum torque of 305 Nm at 2125 rpm and has a five speed manual gearbox transmission. It provides a top speed of 180kmph and reaches 0-100kmph mark in just 10.90 seconds with a mileage of 11.7kmpl in the cities and 15.8kmpl on the highways.

Chevrolet Optra Magnum has ventilated disk brakes at front and disk brakes at rear for superior braking efficiency. Its suspension system consists of MacPherson Strut with Anti-Roll Bar at front and Twin-Tube Gas-filled Shock Absorbers at rear.
