BMW has launched a new model of BMW 6 series known as BMW M6 Gran Coupe. The car is based on the same platform as that of M5 but has got certain subtle changes in terms of the outer look. It comes with a length of 5011 mm, width of 2106 mm and a height of 1393 mm as its dimensions.

Exterior

M6 Gran Coupe has always been a good looking car with aggressive looks. The car is wider, longer and heavier than its sister M5. Basically. it is a four-door, four-seat, with-a-boot sedan. It has a low 2.5 inches roof-line which must be cared before entering into the car, otherwise one may knock its own head. The car is enhanced by large alloys, LED headlights, double-spoke kidney grille, blacked out dual exhaust pipes, aggressive bumpers and carbon fibre roof (optional).

Interior

The car has got goodness of leather and beige on the interior side. M6 is featured with all the luxuries like power windows, remote key-less entry, AC with automatic temperature control, tilt steering wheel, rear HVAC, Integrated navigation system, emergency communication system, garage door transmitter, auto-dimming rear view mirror and many more.

Boot Space and Capacities

It offers comfortable sitting arrangement for 4 passengers with a large boot space. Also the interiors are being offered with two beverage holders on the front. The car has high ground clearance which protects the under body from damages.

Music System

The elegant sedan is featured with a strong, sound music system with sixteen speakers and a support for CD, MP3, DVD, FM/AM. It also comes with a steering wheel mounted audio controls.

Engine and Gearbox

M6 is powered by a 4395cc eight valves engine which generates a power of 560 bhp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 680 Nm at 1500 rpm. The engine is mated with eight speed automatic transmission.

Mileage

The amazing sedan offers an average mileage of 10 kmpl on highways which reduces further to 6 kmpl in the city. It can reach a top speed of 250 kmph, which is electronically limited.

Suspension and Brakes

The suspension system comprises of Double Joint Tie-Bar spring strut axle for the front as well as rear sides. On the other hand, it features ventilated brakes for the front and disc brakes for the rear side which makes the braking system strong and effective.

Ride and Handling

The extended wheelbase makes the car easier to drive and handle. It has got an electronic, heated, auto-tilt away, telescopic, tilt steering which adds on the feel to M6.
