Yamaha has introduced the updated XMax 125 in the European market. The baby maxi-scooter has received new features alongside its larger sibling, the XMax 300. Here’s what it gets now. The XMax 125, just like the 300 is also offered in two variants: standard and Tech Max. Both trims are powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine and its output is rated at 12bhp and 11.2Nm. Even the sharp and youthful design has been retained. It features the same split LED headlights and sporty styling which could lure younger buyers.

The 2023 Yamaha XMax 125 weighs 167kg and gets a decent fuel tank capacity of 13.2-litres. As of now, Yamaha India only offers the Aerox 155 sporty maxi-scooter in India. And the Japanese bikemaker has no plans to bring the XMax 125 here soon. The expected price for Yamaha X-Max 125 is Rs.75,000/-. It is powered 124 cc Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine. The maximum power it generates 14.1 Bhp @ 9000 rpm and a torque of 11.94 Nm @ 6750 rpm. The suspension duties are handled with 27mm telescopic forks at the front and Unit swing at its rear.

Tuesday, 05 December 2023 01:58 PM Yamaha has unveiled the updated 2024 XMAX 125, featuring a futuristic X-shaped LED headlight, restyled Boomerang side covers, and an ergonomic new seat for enhanced riding comfort. The scooter also includes smart 4.3-inch LCD instruments with smartphone connectivity and a Smart Key Ignition System. I think these updates make the XMAX 125 a compelling choice for those seeking a blend of style and functionality.
Tuesday, 08 November 2022 09:53 AM The 2023 Yamaha XMAX 125 has been showcased at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) 2022 in Milan, Italy. This model comes in two variants: the standard XMAX 125 and the XMAX 125 Tech MAX, both powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. I believe the addition of these variants will cater to a wider range of consumers looking for a premium maxi-scooter experience.
Saturday, 30 July 2022 06:53 PM Despite its popularity, Yamaha has no immediate plans to launch the XMAX 125 in India, where the company currently offers the Aerox 155 as its primary sporty maxi-scooter. The XMAX 125 is expected to be priced around Rs. 75,000 if it were to be launched in India. I think this is a missed opportunity, as the XMAX 125s features and performance would likely resonate well with Indian consumers.
Friday, 29 May 2020 07:46 PM Yamaha has confirmed that the XMAX 125 will not be launched in India anytime soon, focusing instead on other models like the Aerox 155. This decision has been met with some disappointment from enthusiasts who were looking forward to the XMAX 125s unique blend of sportiness and practicality. I think this decision might change if there is enough market demand and feedback from potential buyers.
Monday, 18 September 2017 09:50 PM The Yamaha XMAX 125 is praised for its smooth and linear power delivery from its liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The scooter also boasts segment-first innovations, including front and rear disc brakes with ABS and a large 13.2-liter fuel tank. I believe these features make the XMAX 125 one of the best entry-level maxi scooters available.
