Average. I'm not satisfied .and bike back wheel too small. and looking very Bad. Bike self starting is so kind of problem .very deeply nonzero and long drive back pain no.
Best Features: Long drive is good and comfortable
Pros: Milage and smooth, no sound silence and good comfort
Cons: Looks not ok and cross 70 so vibrating and back wheel too small
CBR should be a genre of Cross Beam Racer but not this 250R. Its more of a compromise on quick bike to make a to do all tourer. Comfortable stance with good wind block from the fairing. Quality of components is really good but misses out on no. of components, like side stand indicator and no radiator protection. First thing I did was dump those ContiGO's/MRF's and put Michelin Street Pilot radials the accuracy on leans and grip is way sorted than stock (note rounder profile of rear tyre makes it a bit shaky after 100kph). It's a infantly sensitive on 1st to 3rd gear (forearm clutch exercise in traffic) but post that 4th-5th have a mid range hammer to 6th, which can take 5k to 8.5k revs; from 70kph to 130ish kph. But passing power in 7. 5k to 8. 5k revs is non-existent/mellow. To conclude, if you want one bite of all types of bikes it's a good option and is a really exciting one. Though the price and updated competitors make it hard to recommend it now. (Honda should desperately launch 300 etc.)
Best Features: 6th gear is an overide, smooth gearbox and throttle response.
Pros: Mid Range - usable power & Well dressed - fairing works.
Cons: Minimal display & Low end wrt to gear ratios.
Have completed 3056 kms and the sail is smooth going. The bike has best performance in the segment. Can beat ANY 150 cc under 1 lakh. Mileage I got is 54 kmpl highest and 37 kmpl (cruising at 110 kmph). Still you can make the bike go to 132 kmph. It comes from 100-0 in just few seconds. One word just go for it!!! It's Built After You!!
Best Features: Power delivery, brakes and refinement
Pros: Raw power, Comfort, CBS and of course the LOOKS
Cons: Digital console
The bike is really good and comfortable for touring or long rides, its a sport tourer and not completely a sport bike so don't mix and compare with KTM RC 200 or Ninja. It is best in its sphere of 250cc. Considerable mileage of 30-40kmpl if u ride it with passion rather than rudely. And last but not the least nothing is perfect so make it perfect if u want and assurance lies with brand honda itself, get the road side assistance while purchasing and extended warranty.
Best Features: Comfortable with long rides, braking system, smooth and low-mid pickup, instant pickup, horn power
Pros: Handling, comfort, smooth pickup, sitting posture, pillion comfort, grabrail, storage inside bike, exhaust sound and braking with combined abs
Cons: Headlight power comparitively low though 55/60w, cornering is not confident with this, huge difference between 1st and 2nd gear, rear mudguard not enough to resist mud splashes
Fantastic bike for touring and a great starter bike, but lacks in low end torque which is needed in the city, and looks a bit outdated. Would have been nice if the 300r was released last year. Probably has the best seating position in class. Has a meaty mid range and top end, ideal for high speed cruising on highways, very stable at high speeds. Engine is not stressed and is mod capable. City riding is manageable. Very very decent return of mile age depending on the riders' s riding style. Non existent exhaust note, poor low end torque.
Best Features: The engine, coolant system, seating position
Pros: The mid range and top end, cost of spares ,engine, coolant system
Cons: Non existent exhaust note, low end torque, slightly outdated looks, display, satisfactory braking (non abs)
I have my own sporty Red Hornet, bought 2 months ago. I am satisfied by its mileage, though its giving 40/42 kmpl on city. Its Rear wheel beats all bikes of 160cc to 220cc.
Best Features: Back light, Rear wheel size
Pros: Good looks... Comfortable, easy to handle..!!
Cons: Above the speed of 80 kmph, vibration occurs..!!
Completed 5000 KM with in 4 months. It has good ground clearance compared to Suzuki Gixxer and very comfortable seat.
Best Features: Comfort and power
Pros: Good performance, comfort, ground clearance is very nice
Cons: Gear system not smooth
Hey guys, Don't purchase Honda CB Hornet 160R. I am facing a lot of issues like oil leakage problem, gear is not smooth as fz or pulsar. It gets lot of vibration above 90 kmph. Only look is good nothing else. Customer service is worse. they can't even fix oil leakage issue.
Best Features: Not having any best feature.
Pros: Only look is good nothing else. Facing oil issue problem and not fixed yet.
Cons: Nothing. Service is not Good and facing oil leakage problem till.
Hi guys, it's been two months with this bike and 1500 kms of driving, & here's my short review of all the experience i got. Firstly, let's talk about the LOOKS & really this bike's got all the sophistication & aggressive looks at the same time. Now power, this bike is a beast bit trust me if you really want to enjoy the ride i personally recommend you to get on a highway with an endless road & you then feel the real power & comfort bike has got. In terms of fuel economy, before 1st service this bike's giving fuel economy of 42 to 45 kmpl, but after 1st service the fuel economy has gone to 49 kmpl which is pretty much satisfying. Brakes, the reason i bought this bike. Brakes are the main advantage of this bike, if you are in a traffic these brakes will amaze you with it's performance (thanx to CBS) Well it's been only 1500 kms on this bike, there's many more kms to come.
Best Features: CBS obviously ;)
Pros: CBS, High Ground Clearance
Cons: Lack of 6th Gear, Gear shifting is not so smooth.
It's a nice scooter but, why Honda giving very worst tyres (TVS) because of these tyres I am suffering a lot, I never refer Honda.
Best Features: Built with quality. but not tyres
Pros: Honda brand
Cons: Using cheap quality of tyres (TVS)
Bike's look and style is very good and good in 110 cc segment, comfortable riding experience, very stylish lights and overall look stylish bike, average is good at 40-50 km/hour speed, good HET engine
Best Features: Very good bike in its segment
Pros: Look style and average
Cons: Few colour choice
Honda CB Hornet 160R is very affordable bike for students and the look is very nice and new one and the braking system is very powerful and efficient. This bike has disadvantage of ground clearance and head light power is variable with rpm of engine.
Best Features: Combined braking system
Pros: Braking system
Cons: Ground clearance
For the price, they could have given better gearbox, gear indicators, engine kill switch. Gear shifting gets too tight and false neutral is too common. Seating could be better. Looks, pick-up and braking is top class.
Best Features: Looks and braking
Pros: Looks, X shaped Tail light, pick-up, sound, braking
Cons: Gear shifting, shock absorber, no gear indicator and engine kill switch
Very weak shock absorber, hard Gear shifting to neutral, chain sprocket loose for every 100KM, regular chain tight to be done, no proper seat lock, it's very loose if we ride on bad roads, sound coming from the seat lock.
Best Features: Rear tyre
Pros: Good Pulling and Braking
Cons: Worst shock absorber, hard gear shifting, chain sprocket, seat sound
Yesterday I bought Honda CB Hornet, the look is brilliant, the sound is perfect, the tail led is great. In total, I like this bike very much.
Best Features: Sound, it perfectly suits, especially in the fourth gear.
Pros: Look, sound, pickup and everything.
Cons: No engine kill switch, but I think it's ok, there must be some reason for no kill switch
All fine but pillion seat is small. After 50 kmph the engine starts to make noise. Gear shifter is a nonsense for a premium bike.
Best Features: Tuned for Racing
Pros: Tuned for power & pick up
Cons: Gear shifter is from Rajdoot era! 1 N 2 3 4.. the neutral is a pain ; after paying 90 grand one would expect all down or up. Shifting gear up down with toe alone really s*cks!
This is my first bike after through reviewing all bikes. Styling is good and one could easily relate to the CX-01 concept from Honda. Power and mid range torque is good but slightly lesser than Gixxer. Wider seat and it is comfortable for pillion. Braking is very good with the petal discs. Around 1500 kms has been over in my bike. Highway driving is excellent. Suspension is not a problem. It's better to go slow on the bad roads. Mileage is above 45kmpl for a normal city ride.
Best Features: Muscular tank, Raised handle bar, wider tyres
Pros: Good styling, better mileage, comfortable ride quality
Cons: Engine Kill switch, Average lighting
Today I completed1050 Km in 1 week, 1st service done. The best in class vehicle. I previously owned a CBZ 2012 model, that was also good. But for a change I test drive all 3 Naked best 150 CC bikes (FZ, GIXXER, And the STAR HORNET). The last 1 i drive was hornet. Between fz and Gixxer i was planning for FZ. But after hornet, There is no need to research more. The sales person gave me a test drive of both the versions but i planned for standard 1, bcoz i have a average of 80 KM run per day. Before 1st service the pick up was a bit low, But honestly i even did not tried 2 push it coz the service guys instructed me 2 do so.. But after 1st service it runs like a king, Till 100 kmph very smoothly.. No vibrations at all. And the best part is full economy is around 55 KMPL.. In short - BEST IN THIS CLASS, ULTIMATE MILAGE, DECENT LOOKS, COMFORT AND BEST PERFORMANCE..
Best Features: Mileage, Looks, Tail Light
Pros: BRAKING, SMOOTHNESS, DECENT POWER
Cons: ENGINE KILL SWITCH
Honda khud he Honda ko fail karraha hai, apne product ko niche kar rahi hai company, Navi ko automatic nahin karna chahiye tha, Navi ka manual model bhi launch karna chahiye tha.
Best Features: Only look and shape
Pros: No, I don't like this bike
Cons: Automatic transmission
Well, this bike is a mature premium 160cc bike from HMSI. I say mature because it has some features that really matters. It has class leading brake along with performance. Though, it loose points in "in gear acceleration" against Gixxer only by a negligible difference. It has good pillion seat than its competitor. It looks good. Stability and handling is superb. I'm surprised by its braking performance. I'm having 56 kmpl mileage which is also good in this class. Suspension is not at all stiff as mentioned in some test ride reviews. I feel its suspension setup is tuned at its best. Highway stability is also very very good. Headlight should be DC and with better reflector or with 55W/60W bulb as it is not bright enough. In a whole, I'm very very happy to upgrade to this bike.
Best Features: CBS, Dual disc, 3 pot front caliper, Wide tyres, X shaped tail light
Pros: Performance, Stability, Braking, Mileage, Pick up, Pillion Seat, Suspension, Ergonomics, Looks
Cons: Low Headlight Luminance, No Engine Kill Switch, AC Electrical
