Honda User Reviews - Page 7
I have completed almost 3 years on my Aviator and I have not been disappointed so far, in fact I have been pleasantly surprised just how good the scooter really is. It has a muscular looks which makes it somewhat different from other two-wheelers like Honda Dio, Honda Activa etc. The seating position is comfortable, upright, and wide, which makes it feel compact and confidence inspiring when riding enthusiastically. Its seat height is 790mm which gives comfortable leg space to stretch your legs. But the seat height can create an problem for short riders. The seat is wide and comfortable with good cushioning. I had drive around 5000 kms. The scooter is smooth, sturdy and has very good suspension making the life easier on tough roads. Its stability and braking is impressive. Its main drawback is its weight which makes it quite uncomfortable to handle.
Best Features: Good build quality
Pros: Good build quality, huge under seat storage, muscular looks, comfortable seating position, powerful engine, good mileage
Cons: Heavy weight
I replaced my Bajaj Chetak with Honda CB Shine last year and I am a happy rider of this bike. I like its decent looks and noise-free ride. I have covered around 20,000 km yet and I never spent a single penny on it except servicing. It is suitable for heavy traffic and city roads as well as highways. It gives good seating posture which make it comfortable for highways but the pillion rider has to sit closer to rider for the pain free ride. Yeah the braking system is also good with front disc brakes so you don't have to worry while riding on high speeds. It returns me mileage of 57-60 kmpl which is more than enough for me. On the negative sides, i feel vibrations after crossing speed of 70 kmph and in cold weather starting trouble exists. But inspite of these issues, I don't regret having owned Shine. I am much Satisfied with my bike.
Best Features: Mileage
Pros: Seating position, Gear shifting is fine, No back pain
Cons: Vibration (after 70 speed)
I am using Aviator from 2013, it was my result time after 10th exams when I got my scooter. I have done everything on this scooter from the traffic cuts, crossing shallow streams, carrying heavy bags up to 26-27 kg but my scooter never offended me. It has a good Seat height for comfortable leg space to stretch your legs but it can create problem for short riders. Pillion seat is positioned bit higher that allows better view of road ahead. It offers upright riding posture which helps in strain free drive. It climbs hilly roads with ease and till now I have ride it at max speed of 90-95 kmph. Yes, the engine become noisy at high speed but it can be ignored for fun drive. Regarding the brakes, I can say it has the best brakes among all scooters. How can I forget to mention its under seat storage, it offers enough space to carry helmet and a separate space for the documents. It is giving me 45 - 48 kmpl average on city roads which is good according to me. Rest everybody has their own opinions.
Best Features: Mileage
Pros: Excellent ride quality, sturdy and stable, Brakes, Storage
Cons: Nothing really at this point
I purchased it on 06 Aug 2015 for its good value for money ...but everything is not perfect and I don't know what is...
Best Features: Looks better than any 110cc or 125cc bike
Pros: Musculer great body with no unwanted graphics, front and back view looks, best seat
Cons: Not silent like CB Shine, engine makes noise like any other 110cc bike, no split handle grab bar
I bought a CBR 150R an year back. It's cool and I'm impressed with the performance. The silky smooth engine is one of the best points to be noticed. Everyone can simply compare the bike in city roads. The actual performance can be tested only after riding it for 100+ kms. Once you crossed the 100 kms, the performance of the bike seems to be roaring. The main point to be noticed is Engine Idling. When you start the bike every day, leave it for few minutes till it reaches 3 points in heat. Then you can feel the smoothness. Oil change and chain tight should be done at the right time to maintain the performance. I touched 137kmph at 10,500 RPM. May be we can get 140kmph @11,000RPM. I didn't tried. Long distance travelled in a day: 650kms. Cleared 21,000kms in 1year and no problems other than brake pads and sprocket. Maintenance free bike and best in class. Honda = Quality. Mileage varies: 32 to 35kmph in city and 35-40 kmph in highway. For more mileage maintain below 7000 RPM and for more feel maintain above 6000RPM. Gear shifting at 11,000RPM will gives enough power to compete with 200NS. I'm planning to go for 250R for better performance.
Best Features: Riding positon.
Pros: Power above 7000 RPM, style, colour,
Cons: Low torque, Build quality, Head light should be in fireblade style
Honda CBR250R is a naked sporty bike, best in its class. It is aerodynamically designed and inspired by the VFR1200. I own a Red color CBR250R since over a year. No, doubt it is a best bike. But, I am facing some issues also like its bad cornering ability due to its heavier weight. The braking power is a bit of let down, though it does manage to stop just right in time. In city conditions it gives good mileage of 35-38 Km/l, however it comes down on highways because of high speed. In full tank (approximately around 13-litres), the CBR can cover a distance of 360 kms.
Best Features: Handling at Higher Speeds
Pros: Mileage, Comfortable riding, Looks and Style
Cons: Vibration, Chain lubrication after every 350 KM, Heavy Weight, Cornering Ability
Can someone from the company please answer why did you choose to have the switch console on Unicorn and CBR 150 the same as in Shine or the economy vehicles? For a vehicle such as Unicorn that is priced at 85K and CBR 150 that is more than a lakh, shouldn't the consoles at least be as good as CBR 250? When the engine capacity is already compromised in comparison to CBR 250, as consumers, should we compromise on such trivial features that are basics of any bike? Please let me know if this is any wrong expectation.
Best Features: Speedometer, Seat, Design
Pros: Design, Engine Capacity, Comfort
Cons: Switch Console (Highly Compromised)
I am writing this review after spending 5 years with this bike. First of all, its looks are dashing which goes very well with your personality. It doesn't make noise on roads like Pulsars or any other bike, it just overtakes silently and very smoothly. The seating posture is perfect with a slight upwards pillion seat. Though, I have no experience as pillion but I never hear any complaints from pillion companion yet. I go for long ride every weekend and on my Unicorn I can travel 130 km with single sitting. I never feel backache and shoulder pain on all long tours. Controlling the bike just require stamina otherwise it is very balanced bike that it remains steady at the speed of 2-10 kmph. So the only problem If I have to figure out, is I can say it's the weight of the bike. No other problem found yet.
Best Features: Looks
Pros: Good look, Mileage, Comfort while riding
Cons: Heavy weight
I owned a CB Twister for almost 8 months now. Its looks are damn hot no doubt but I hate its grab rails and over usage of plastic. But the main talking point of the bike is its 110cc engine. The pickup is good, it offers comfortable ride even at 90km/hr speed with a little vibration. The upright seating posture never make me uncomfortable on city roads. Everybody have misconception that big fuel tank is a big hindrance. But believe me, fuel tank is designed in such a way that my knees rest perfectly while riding. How can I forget mention mileage here, it returns me 65+ overall mileage with which I am satisfied.
Best Features: Looks
Pros: Style, Mileage, Comfort
Cons: Over usage of Plastic
Honda CB Trigger is a sporty looking commuter bike. It holds smooth engine, I am happy that it doesn't make loud noise on top speed. I have completed 17000 km on this bike and it is giving me 55 kmpl average on highways and 50 on city roads. I have traveled a lot with my friends on long distance tours and believe me it offers fatigue free ride. I never faced any problem in bike yet but I can say its paint quality is poor.
Best Features: Mileage
Pros: Comfort, Mileage, performance
Cons: Poor paint quality
I have been riding this bike for 3 years and it gives good mileage. The bikes looks similar to its sibling Honda Shine. It is amazing bike with good features in the commuter segment of motorcycles. Based on HET, Technology it offers great efficiency, comfortable in riding and handling. Even it is easy on pocket as far as maintenance is concerned.
Best Features: Value For Money
Pros: Best in Mileage, Comfort
Cons: Vibrations in Engine, Reliability, Handling and Control, Problem in Gear Shift
I like my Dio for its small size and good performance. With an 110cc big engine it is quite fast, So I can easily use it at 70-80 kph on highways. It has a huge under-seat storage space that can hold a full-face helmet and I carry lots of stuff on the flat floor too, it's really handy for shopping. Things I feel missed on this scooter is trip meter, front number plate and rear fairing as engine is not fully covered like Activa.
Best Features: Ease of Hhandle
Pros: Light weight, Price, Underseat storage, Performance
Cons: Design, Lack of full fairing over engine
Honda CBF Stunner has a power to turn heads and it makes me proud owner everytime I notice people gazing my machine. Its split seat and engine guard make it more attractive and unique from other bikes. While, it allow me comfortable ride no matter how long the trip is and this was the most important factor I was looking in my bike. As I am a tall guy I need bike which provides enough seat space without any problem. One thing that make me upset is its engine which starts making noise whenever I try to accelerate over 70 km/hr. Overall, it runs smoothly under 65km/h and returns good mileage.
Best Features: Mileage
Pros: Comfortable Riding Position, Mileage, Good performance
Cons: Vibrations, Exhaust Sound
It is an fuel efficient and comfortable executive commuter city bike with good design. If you do not regret spending 5,000 extra rupees, this is the best bike which you should purchase at this moment. The engine is smooth and styling is top class. It offers a true mileage of 58 to 65 km per litre in the city-riding conditions, depending upon the riding habit of the rider. The good shock absorbers of the bike make the journey pleasant on the bumpy roads. Handling is very good. The weight of the bike is 110 Kg only which is good for flickering in the crowded roads of the city like Delhi. It has a set of MRF Tube-less tyres, which is a first in a commuter motorcycle in India. It is very useful when punctured with a thorn-wire-nail etc. It will not let the air out instantly and you can safely go to the nearest puncturewala who will mend it immediately without removing the wheel of the bike.
Best Features: Good Mileage & Value for Money
Pros: Eye catching looks, value for money, tubeless tires, good mileage
Cons: Lack of 5th gear, pass switch
I admire this scooter for its long resistant performance and looks and it offers a great competition to other scooters also when it comes to mileage. It is a scooter which suits a girl or a guy pretty well and its not targeted to a certain gender but it looks good on almost everyone. I am getting mileage of 50 km on average which is quite satisfactory. The system system is good but front suspension is little bit hard so it has to be improved. During night driving, its head light focus is good. It is a light weight scooter so there is no problem to handle it in cities or highways. The looks are also very impressive and eye-catching.
Best Features: Lightweight & Easy handling
Pros: Easy Handling, light weight, stylish, good pickup, good mileage
Cons: Hard Front Suspension
Honda CBF Stunner is a perfect mixture of performance, style and economy. Though it's the costliest in its segment by few thousands, but is worth a buy because of its key features. The foot pegs are very sporty. The pickup is amazing that you won't be left behind when the signal turns green. The ride quality is also very praiseworthy. The tubeless MRF tyres offers better stability and control. Even in bumpy or wet roads the grip is excellent. In mileage department it also scores well. It offers me a mileage of around 55-60 kmpl in city and 60-65 kmpl on highways which is enough for me. The engine is very smooth and gear shifting is good without any problem. If it scores good in many areas, it also lacks in few sections like the pillion seat is not comfortable, you cannot expect long tours on this bike. After crossing 90kmph it starts vibrating. The headlight is also not bright which is also a negative factor of this bike.
Best Features: Stylish & Good Pickup
Pros: Stylish, pickup, brake, economical, mileage, DC headlamp
Cons: Uncomfortable for pillion riders, vibrations after 90 KMPH, headlight is not bright
It is a winner in its own terms. It has a sporty design which is quite eye-catching and its handling power is also very impressive. It has wide handlebars that make the handling easy and comfortable. It is a fuel efficient bike which offers me a mileage of 60-62 kmpl on highway and 40-45 in cities. The engine sound is smooth and you will feel like you are driving a car. The braking system is efficient and the mono suspension present at the backside of this bike is very responsive. The only drawback is that it does not have 6th gear.
Best Features: Smooth Engine & Good Build Quality
Pros: Sporty design, smooth engine, efficient braking system, fuel efficient, easy handling, good build quality
Cons: Lack of 6th gear
I am using this bike for the past one and a half year. It is quite amazing motorcycle to ride, its low kerb weight makes it a breeze to ride in traffic. Ride quality is highly appreciable with a typical 18 inch tubeless tyres. The long and soft seat is the best feature I must say. I easily carry one of my skinny friend with me and still get a good mileage. The only drawback I feel in the bike is its thin tyre which skids when you brake hard and this act already sprained my ankle. So what else I can tell about this.
Best Features: Good Riding position
Pros: Fuel efficient, Superb handler, Long & comfortable seats
Cons: Thin tyres
Honda one heart.. powerful engine compared to any other bikes (up to 250cc) .. 0-100 km/hr in 8secs.. it has the best handling.. I am bike lover.. I love to ride. 1250 kms driven in 20 days from delivery.. Price is bit high but worth it.. I like to spend blindly on Honda products.. the one & only competing bike is KTM Duke 200 & RC 200.. but I preferred Honda CBR 250R ABS.. it has better handling and pinion safety than KTM.. Buy with ABS if you drive rustic in city.. that's only way to control the powerful engine.. if you are confused to buy or not.. I say don't wait.. if you book now only u will get your buddy in 3 months.. thank you
Best Features: 1.Combines ABS 2.Headlight
Pros: 1.Pick up 2. Riding handling 3. Comfortable 4. Braking System(combined Abs ) 5. Built Body
Cons: 1. Bike's weight (it is the only cons but has its own advantages of grounded and gives us confidence and no shake when we ride at high speeds..)
I have completed one year on this bike and I am fully satisfied with my bikes performance. Yes, the bike is heavy in weight which is also slightly harder to maneuver and turn at low speeds but certainly not so hard that you will drop it. My legs aren't the strongest but I haven't dropped it ever. Average wise, it gives an average of 29 km/l on city roads and according to me it can cover a distance of 360 kms with full tank. The problem I faced in my CBR is its gear shifter which sometimes stuck between 1st and 2nd.
Best Features: Comfortable ride and stylish ergonomics
Pros: Refined engine, Performance, Ride quality, Sporty looks
Cons: Horns, Side stand, Gear Shifter get stuck sometimes
