The 2025 Honda NT1100 has been updated with a retuned 1084cc parallel-twin engine, offering a 7% increase in torque in the midrange without any reduction in peak power. This enhancement is due to changes in the intake, combustion, and exhaust systems. The engine now complies with Euro 5+ standards through a new O2 sensor and misfire-sensing crank pulsar. I think this boost in torque will make the bike even more enjoyable for touring.

Honda has introduced a new six-axis IMU for the 2025 NT1100, which improves the performance of the electronics suite. This includes three levels of traction control, cornering-aware ABS, wheelie control, and rear wheel lift mitigation. The IMU also enhances the DCT versions shifting in corners and at slow speeds. This tech upgrade should make the bike more stable and responsive.

The 2025 Honda NT1100 now features Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) as an optional semi-active suspension. This allows for adjustable suspension settings based on the four riding modes: Urban, Tour, Rain, and User. This should significantly improve the bikes comfort and handling, especially for sportier riding. I believe this addition will be a game-changer for riders seeking both comfort and performance.

The design of the 2025 Honda NT1100 has been refined with sharper, more aerodynamic fairings and new LED headlights that integrate daytime running lights and turn signals. The front mudguard is now longer for better splash protection, and the seat area has been increased by 20% while maintaining the same low seat height. These changes should enhance both aesthetics and functionality.

Prices range from £12,679 for the standard model to £14,099 for the NT1100 DCT Electronic Suspension flagship. I think these new colors will appeal to a wide range of buyers.

Despite its success in Europe, where it was the best-selling sports tourer in 2023, the Honda NT1100 remains unavailable in the United States. Honda has not announced any concrete plans to bring it to the U.S. market, leaving American riders eagerly awaiting any news. I hope Honda considers the U.S. market soon, as this bike has a lot to offer.

The NT1100s suspension was previously criticized for being too soft and underdamped, but the 2025 model addresses this with the optional Showa EERA semi-active suspension. This upgrade allows for better adjustability and performance, especially for sportier riding. I think this fix will make the bike more appealing to riders who demand better handling.

The 2025 Honda NT1100 retains its 1084cc parallel-twin engine but with several updates, including longer intake ducts, new ECU settings, a slightly higher compression ratio, and redesigned piston crowns. These changes maintain the 101 horsepower output while increasing low and mid-range torque. This should make the bike more enjoyable for daily commuting and long-distance touring.

Honda has improved the DCT transmission in the 2025 NT1100, providing better response at low speeds and a revised shifting schedule. This makes the bike more enjoyable for filtering and U-turns, enhancing overall usability. I believe this improvement will make the DCT option more attractive to riders.

The NT1100 features a range of touring-friendly amenities, including upper and lower wind deflectors, a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen display, USB/ACC charging sockets, heated grips, and a center stand. These features are designed to enhance comfort and convenience during long trips. I think these amenities make the NT1100 a top choice for tourers.
