Hero User Reviews - Page 8
Hero Splendor iSmart is a best budget bike according to me. The ride quality it offers is good and it returns me 55 -60 kmpl mileage. I can handle it very comfortably even in Delhi traffic with back passenger. Its soft seats never give me back pain on long drives. Overall, its worth spending money on this bike.
Best Features: Style and Mileage
Pros: Fuel Efficient, Seats, Handling, Price, Low maintenance
Cons: Not Found Yet
I bought my honda glamour 2 months back. I had a very good impression about the bike before I owned it. Starting from looks, its one of the best looking bike in 125cc segment. Performance of the bike is very impressive. No vibrations during high speed. Rear mudguard is broader which save my clothes from muddy water in rain. And it has smooth self and power start. I am happy to buy this bike and if you are thinking to buy one, go for it without any doubt.
Best Features: Mileage and Seat comfort
Pros: Fuel efficient, Smooth ride, comfortable seats
Cons: Nothing
I have gone a distance of 800 km approximately with this bike.In short this bike is awesome. Best thing is its powerful engine. Sometimes I do race with some 200 or 220 cc bikes and I can manage to give them a though competition. Go for it guys..
Best Features: Stylish meter console
Pros: Mileage is quite good (50+ kmpl overall), sexy sound, comfortable ride, nice pick up and excellent engine
Cons: Fuel tank capacity should be increased
Its been 2 years, I am riding this motorcycle. The changes I noticed in this bike in these two years is its mileage. I used to get an average of 57 kmpl on heavy traffic and now it dropped down to 47-49 kmpl only. It seems that its engine is rated to deliver good mileage only for 2 year. Positive aspects of the bike are its comfortable seat and pillion. Its looks are average and handling is also good but the main mileage department is bit annoying.
Best Features: Nothing
Pros: Riding comfort, Handling
Cons: Mileage, Looks
This is all new class looking bike. The throttle response of the motorcycle is quicker and sudden in nature as compared to other Splendor variants. Its kerb weight is low which makes it handy in city riding. The ergonomics is typical commuter-ish with comfortable front foot pegs, upward seating position and easily reachable handlebars. This bike is budget friendly and is fuel efficient and gives me a mileage of 61 to 65 km/l in cities and 68 to 73 km/l on highways. The bike has no front disc which is essential if we see the Indian road conditions and centre stand is also not present which can be a hurdle in the comfort of pillion rider.
Best Features: Fuel Efficient & Excellent Mileage
Pros: Refined APDV engine, excellent mileage, superb styling, value for money, fuel efficient, handling comfort, low kerb weight
Cons: No front disc, no centre stand, akwardly set front foot pegs, single seater
I purchased my bike last year and till now I didn't face any problem with it. The handling and ride quality is perfect and I have done many long tours on my bike without any trouble. The mileage is good and gives me in between 40-60 kmpl. It is lightweight and is easy to handle. The alloy wheels are stylish which is the significant part of my bike. In comparison to old Splendor, the design of this model is quite interesting and you will never be disappointed with its looks. Last but not the least, it is a low cost bike which has good features under a nominal price range. The only drawback which I find in my bike is that it has no disc brake but overall it is a good motorcycle easily fits to any person's budget.
Best Features: Value for money & Fuel efficient
Pros: Refreshed look, value for money, fuel efficient, light weight, stylish alloy wheels
Cons: No disc brake
After having discussion with my family, I decided to go with Hero Achiever. And seriously you can't believe it's a great experience to have this motorcycle. I found all the qualities which I always thought in my motorcycle. The riding comfort and braking is up to the mark. It is not at all giving me back pain even on long rides and bumpy roads. The seat is long enough to accommodate a family of 4. Most importantly, it is quite economical which can easily fits to every pocket. Mileage and pickup is amazing in both conditions i.e. in cities or highways. The only drawback for those who care is the styling. It does not have the sort of muscular styling like other 150cc bikes.
Best Features: Fuel Efficient & Economical
Pros: Fuel efficient, superb mileage, super pickup, economical, good handling, smooth gearbox
Cons: Styling, weak rear drum brake
I bought this bike in 2012 unexpectedly without any research or planning on this bike. Actually I wanted to purchase Hero Splendor Pro but then I dopped my idea and bought this machine. Now I feel I made a right decision. I like the looks, mileage, control and pickup. It gives me a mileage of up to 69 kmpl on economy speed on highways after second service. This is truly value for money. While riding this bike, you will feel relax on its seat and there are no chances of back ache. Control of bike is also nice even when I touch the speed 80 kmph. What I don't like is gear shifting especially to and from 2nd gear. Headlights should also be improved, not great especially on highways.
Best Features: Fuel Efficiency & Value For Money
Pros: Comfortable seating position, good fuel efficiency, noise free engine sound, low maintenance cost, value for money, good mileage
Cons: Gear shift not smooth, headlights not good
I am using Xtreme 150 from 2 years. Its engine is smooth and it returns adequate torque on city roads. Riding experience is good but it annoys me when it rains outside. My back covered with mud when I rode for 70 kmph in rain. Its headlight and horn is worst, even the Honda Activa wear more powerful horn and light. Overall, I am not satisfied with this machine. If would recommend Suzuki Gixxer over this bike.
Best Features: Nothing!
Pros: Engine and Gearbox
Cons: Low intensity of headlamp and horn, Noisy engine (in rain)
Well, if you love Hero's design, reliability, fuss-free ownership and value for money proposition there are no doubts. Priced at Rs. 1200/- less than the CB Trigger and at least Rs. 3500/- less than the FZ-S for the drum variant, it is value considering it has more goodies, engine has more more power and of course let's not forget, if you find it attractive than there is no stopping you. Seats are the best attractive factor in Xtreme. Mileage was reported to be 45 kmpl. It is OK for me. Mileage is not a major concern. We have to sacrifice something to get a better thing.
Best Features: Powerful Engine & Comfortable Seating
Pros: Powerful engine for touring and comuting, excellent paint quality, MRF tube-less tyres
Cons: Lack of engine kill switch, same old styling
FIRST OF ALL THE BUILD QUALITY IS VERY POOR AND AVERAGE SU**S THE MOST. EXCEPT LOOKS THIS BIKE DOES NOT HAVE ANY THING GOOD.
Best Features: NOTHING REALLY
Pros: NOTHING EXCEPT ITS LOOKS
Cons: EVERY THING EXCEPT ITS LOOKS

Buying a Karizma ZMR was really a very bad choice. The bike has just got eye catching looks. The overall performance of the bike is really Pathetic. Clutch of the bike has got some serious issues and is way too problematic.Even the gear pedal came off once. The problem is not only limited to bike but there are serious problems with the service that hero provides.
Best Features: Just the looks.
Pros: Only the looks.
Cons: Everything apart from looks.
This bike is really sporty... Handling, control and riding comfort are too good... Mileage about 40 kmpl... Top speed that I tested is 119 km/h... But over 90 km/h engine and side or back panel cover sounds are much noisy... Overall hero Xtreme sports is good bike than it's competitors...
Best Features: New and refreshed look and engine...
Pros: High power acceleration, looks, split seat, slightly down than original Xtreme...
Cons: Noisy panel cover, key lock position, no engine kill switch...

Pathetic, third class and very poor service, 9 months and 2 batteries have been replaced, 4 times it went for servicing as it was troubling us some on other it was troubling us with different issues, after 9 months now battery completely dead, no self starter, no front light, no front display, no horn. I have never seen such a useless bike like this, guys I would suggest if you don’t want lose your mind please don’t buy this third class bike go for any other bike accept this.
Best Features: Nothing
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Such poor bike
1. Neck pain in city traffic for more than one hour so better change ur posture for every 20 mins 2. Back indicator often breaking down 3. Fill nitrogen air for long life tires and better mileage 4. Maintain same and good petrol bunk for better mileage 5. Always maintain half tank petrol if not means mild air lock will interrupt the mileage 6. Service your bike every 3000 km accurately after 2nd service 7. Don't park your bike in stands because ZMR will easily get scratch in claws 8. Age above 40 cant sit in back seat for continuous one hour journey 9. Avoid rash drive till 5000 km 10. Last but not least wear helmet
Best Features: Mileage, looks & long drive
Pros: Mileage gives 43.2 in city and 48.9 in highway in single ride with a weight of 61
Cons: Neck pain in city traffic for more than one hour so better change your posture for every 20 mins
I bought the bike because it is marketed by an Indian company but it's not worth it. Engine shuts down in the middle, the bike broke down twice in a month, handle wobbles and the bike's suspension is very poor. Only looks are ok. Very poor post sales service by one of their dealers (akar motors jaipur). Haven't done Teflon coating and when I went to them for it they asked me to clean the bike. Even when I went for first service they told me to come another day as if they are doing some charity on me. Worst behavior.
Best Features: Looks
Pros: Look
Cons: Poor steering, poor engine, poor suspension and poor customer service
