The Yamaha FZS version 2.0 comes with least amount of fairing and that would not get loose with time. Small amount of vibrations are produced at high speeds and that seems normal as it occurs due to some manufacturing inaccuracy in tightening of nuts and bolts. The FZS is a nicely made motorcycle, with no issues of its built quality till date. The bike has been refined in its version 2, making it more quick and responsive to the throttle than the older version. It produces 12.9 BHP and 12.8 NM, which looks small on paper only. In reality, it has became more aggressive in riding, dropping down its 0-100 time with its secind version. It comes with a price tag of INR 81,659.

A factor you should consider is as to how well does the respective service centre take care of their customers. I'd suggest you talk to few owners of these scooters. Front disk brake is preferable to a drum. Tubeless tyres are better. The actual mileage claimed by a few manufacturers is many a times way lower than what is claimed. If you are located in the coastal part of India, I would suggest you avoid chrome accessories as they tend to rust (eg. Piaggio Vespa) quickly. LML Star Euro 150 for example comes with a spare wheel.

TVS Jupiter is the best scooter out of the above three options. People consider the Activa 3G as the best scooter but the TVS Jupiter has gone above the negative points of the Activa 3G and made a perfect scooter at its price range. The engine delivers 7.8 BHP, which sounds less than the Activa on paper, but on road, the minor difference is not even felt by an average rider. The Jupiter provides the rider with 12 inch rim size with alloy wheels which is far better than the Activa's 10 inch steel rims. Also, it comes with front telescopic suspension, making it more comfortable on non ideal roads. Even after having these features, the Jupiter comes with a price tag of INR 46,925 which is far better than the INR 50,000 tag of Activa.

I personally own a TVS jupiter and frequently use my friend's Activa 3G. I have also test driven a relative's Fascino. While Activa has much better after sales support and resale value, I find the ride quality and comfort of Jupiter to be better. Also Jupiter has much better balance due to those bigger 12 inch wheels I think. Another plus point of Jupiter is the better initial acceleration compared to Fascino. The plus points of Fascino are its Vespa like looks and silent engine.

The carburetor for Yamaha Gladiator can be availed from its authorized service center. The bike being quiet old may not get a Gladiator carburetor but Yamaha technicians can get you a suitable and much improved version for your motorcycle. You can also get the same from some aftermarket shop but the reliability factor decreases in that case. Yamaha service center would give you a genuine part, even if it belong to some other motorcycle of the same category whereas the aftermarket shop can give you some low quality part for a wrong price due to its scarcity. The 5-speed Gladiator was a very impressive bike of its time and you can even get it more alive with the help of better and genuine parts for the bike.

Gixxer SF has a full faired look with single headlight while Fazer fi v2 has twin headlight with half fairing. Mileage will almost be same. Fazer is 5000/- more costly than Gixxer SF. And the performance is better in Suzuki giant. So Suzuki Gixxer SF will be a better option.

Dear Vinayak, Suzuki Gixxer SF provided 47 certified minimum mileage compared to fazer 2.0 because Gixxer SF has aerodynamic body and better performance and looks. So unique.
